Minestructor

Your bot builds it for you. Pick any Litematica schematic and Minestructor plays survival on its own, gathering, crafting, smelting, farming, mining and fighting until it’s built. Legit placements, no cheats. Plus a one-click medieval house designer.

Minestructor

Your bot builds it for you. Pick a Litematica schematic, press Start, and Minestructor takes over your player: it gathers the materials, crafts and smelts what it needs, places every block legitimately, cleans up its scaffolding, and keeps itself fed and safe while it works. When you just want help with everyday survival, it can also chop trees, mine, farm, look after your animals and fight off mobs on its own.

Everything is done the way a player would do it. Blocks are placed by looking at them and clicking, from places a player could actually stand. Nothing is spawned in, and nothing is teleported.

Requirements

Minestructor needs these mods installed alongside it. It will not start without them.

Mod Version What it's for
Minecraft 26.1.2
NeoForge 26.1.2.95 or newer Mod loader
Baritone API for NeoForge 1.18.0 (baritone-api-neoforge-1.18.0.jar) Pathfinding: how the bot walks, climbs and digs its way around
Forgematica 0.5.1+mc26.1.2 The NeoForge port of Litematica: loads schematics and shows placements
MaFgLib 0.5.5+mc26.1.2 Library that Forgematica needs
Foxified Class Tweaker 0.1.2 Library that MaFgLib needs

Put all of them in your mods folder together with Minestructor. Use the API build of Baritone (the file with api in its name), because that's the one Minestructor talks to.

Minestructor runs on your client. Using it on a multiplayer server may break that server's rules about automation, so check them first.

Controls

All keys can be changed under Options > Controls, in the Minestructor category.

Key What it does
B Open the Minestructor menu (also used to confirm corners when marking areas)
N Stop whatever the bot is doing, right away
K Release the mouse while the bot keeps working, so you can use other windows. Press K in game to take it back
J Freecam: watch the bot from a camera that circles around it

A sidebar on the left of the screen shows what the bot is doing and how far along it is.

The menu

Press B to open the menu. It has four tabs: Construction, Project, Survival and Options.

Construction: build a schematic

This tab builds a Litematica placement you have already loaded.

  1. Load a schematic in Litematica and put the placement where you want it, as you normally would.
  2. Open the menu and pick the placement from the list.
  3. Choose Mode:
    • Creative: the bot builds from your creative inventory.
    • Survival: the bot uses what you carry plus your storage chests, and tells you when something is missing.
  4. Optional: press Select chests, then punch the chests that hold your building materials. The bot fetches from them as it goes. Use base also lets it take from your survival base chests (see the Project tab).
  5. Press Start. Press Stop or N to stop. Start again later to pick up where it left off.

Materials shows everything the build needs, what you have, and what is still missing.

Useful options on this tab:

  • Access stairs: the bot builds one dirt staircase and walkways to reach high places, instead of putting dirt pillars everywhere.
  • Remove scaffolding: takes all the temporary dirt down when the build is finished.
  • Stop if short: after the first look at your materials, stops and lists what is missing if the build cannot be finished.
  • Camera: see "Camera and comfort" below.

The bot checks its work as it goes. Wrong blocks, blocks placed facing the wrong way, and stray blocks inside the build are taken out and replaced.

Random house

The Random house button under the placement list designs a brand-new medieval house and places it right in front of you, with the door facing you. Each house is different. It might have timber framing and plaster or stone, steep roofs with dormers, cross-gabled wings and lean-tos, jettied upper floors, a stone chimney with a fire, shutters and window boxes, a door canopy with lanterns, a path and garden, and furnished rooms inside. A loading bar shows its progress while it compares dozens of designs and keeps the best one.

The house is saved to schematics/minestructor/ and selected for building, so you can press Start straight away. You can also load the file again later from Litematica.

Project: a whole build in survival, from scratch

Project mode plays survival by itself until a schematic is built. It gathers wood and stone, crafts tools and armor, smelts, farms, mines, lights the base, sleeps at night and defends itself. You only set it up once.

Set up your base first:

  1. Base area: press Set bounds of base, walk to one corner and press B, then walk to the opposite corner and press B. Edit… lets you type exact coordinates. A green outline shows the area.
  2. Base chests: Select all chests in base finds them for you, or Set inventory of base lets you punch the ones you want. Base inventory shows what is stored in them.
  3. Workstations: Find all picks up the furnaces, crafting tables and similar blocks in the base, or Select lets you choose them yourself. Purple outlines show them.

Then open Project mode…, check the setup list, choose your settings, and press Start. Resume carries on with a saved project. Project mode never starts by itself, and N stops it at any time.

Project settings (under More options… and in the Options tab) include what it is allowed to do: mining, farming, hunting, expeditions to far-away biomes for things that do not grow near the base, sleeping or working at night, and building as it goes or all at the end.

Survival: everyday tasks

Each button opens a small setup screen with a Start button. Finished goods go into your base chests when you have set some up.

  • Chop trees…: cuts down whole trees of any kind, picks up the logs, saplings and apples, and replants. Works in a tree farm or out in a forest, until you stop it or a set amount is reached.
  • Mine…: set where your mine starts and what to look for. The bot takes supplies from the base, digs down, strip-mines or tunnels, lights the way with torches, and brings everything home. It can do one trip or keep going.
  • Gather…: collects sand, gravel, flint, clay, dirt, pumpkins, sugar cane and similar from the surface around you.
  • Farm…: find or mark your farms, then harvest what is ripe and replant. It knows the different kinds of farm. It never breaks the bottom block of sugar cane, bamboo or cactus. It only takes melons and pumpkins, never their stems. It uses a sword on bamboo. It can farm once or every few minutes.
  • Husbandry…: looks after the animals in your pens by your rules (see below).
  • Smelt…: smelts ores, food, sand and more in your base furnaces, using items and fuel from the base chests.
  • Craft…: crafts anything in your recipe book from what is in the base chests, including the steps in between (logs into planks into sticks).

Running out of tools: chopping and mining stop when the bot has no axe or pickaxe left. It walks back to the base, or stops where it is if you have no base. You can turn this off in the task's setup screen.

Husbandry

Hunting the animals in your pens would wipe them out, so husbandry follows rules you set for each kind of animal (cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, rabbits):

  • Keep at least: never fewer adults than this; none of them are ever culled.
  • Up to: breeds until there are this many.
  • Breed: feeds pairs of adults their food, fetched from the base chests.
  • Cull extras: culls adults above the "up to" number for meat. It never takes young, named or leashed animals, and always uses an axe or a bare hand, never a sword, so the sweep can't hit the others.
  • Extra: milks cows, shears sheep, or picks up eggs.

Find pens detects fenced or walled areas with animals in them, or you can mark a pen yourself. The bot closes every gate it opens. It can also hunt wild animals outside your pens if you allow it, cook the meat, and repeat every few minutes.

Mobs

  • Fight for me: kills the mobs that are coming at you right now, then stops once nothing has attacked for a few seconds. It does not go looking for more.
  • Hunt hostile mobs: goes out and hunts zombies, skeletons, spiders, creepers, slimes and other hostile mobs within 32 blocks, picks up what they drop, and rests when hurt. It leaves endermen, piglins and other neutral mobs alone. Press N to stop.
  • Mobs: Fight or flee / Run away / Ignore: what the bot does when mobs show up while it is busy with any other task.

Stop task stops the current survival task.

Self-defence

Whatever the bot is doing, it watches for mobs that are coming for it.

  • It fights with the best sword or axe it has. A shield it carries goes in the off hand, and it raises the shield in time to block incoming arrows and fireballs.
  • Every hit is fully charged. When only one mob is close, it lands critical hits by jumping and striking on the way down. Against a group, it uses sword sweeps.
  • It stays just outside a zombie's reach while staying inside its own, backs away from crowds so mobs come at it from one side, and goes for the mob that is hurting it most.
  • It keeps its distance from creepers. If one starts to hiss, it blocks with a shield if it has one, and otherwise gets clear.
  • It knows how to fight mounted mobs, such as zombies riding zombie horses, and mobs with spears.
  • It decides whether to fight or run based on how strong the mobs are, its own gear and its health. When it is outnumbered or badly hurt, it runs toward the base, and as a last resort it digs a sealed shelter and waits until it is safe.

You can set how much it will take on, when to run, how far it watches, and whether it may dig shelters in the Options tab, under Mobs.

Camera and comfort

  • Camera: Still: your view stays calm while the bot works. The game still sees the bot looking at every block it places; only your screen does not turn.
  • Camera: Follow smoothly: your view turns with the bot, gently eased. Camera turning sets how gentle.
  • Camera: Snap: the view jumps straight to each target. This is the fastest, but it is abrupt.

Freecam (J) lets you watch the bot from outside. It can outline the player so you can see it through walls.

Options

The Options tab has every setting in one place, grouped by topic:

  • Mobs: fight or flee, how much to take on, when to run, emergency shelters, watch range.
  • Food: when to eat.
  • Movement and camera: camera style, sprinting, showing Baritone's planned path, inventory speed.
  • Construction: placing speed, access stairs, scaffolding removal, what to do with blocks you cannot get in survival (substitute them or count them as needed), stop if short.
  • Survival: wood as smelting fuel, where crafted items go, farming and mining repeats, torches in mines and in the base.
  • Project mode: armor and shield, diamond tools, digging a first shelter, making a farm, mining, hunting, what to do at night, when to build, search range, expeditions, food to keep in stock, respawning after death.
  • Display: outlines for the base and workstations, and the sidebar.

Every option has a tooltip explaining it.

Tips

  • Keep a few stacks of dirt or cobblestone in your inventory or chests. The bot uses them for scaffolding and takes them down afterwards.
  • For survival builds, put your materials in chests the bot knows about (storage chests or base chests). It fetches only what it needs, as it needs it.
  • N always stops everything immediately. You are always in control.
  • If a build stops with blocks left, open Materials to see what it is waiting for.
  • Settings and project progress are saved per world.
