Miner's Delight Bridge

Miner’s Delight Bridge faithfully ports the foods, blocks, recipes, and unique features of modern Miner’s Delight to Minecraft 1.12.2.

This mod is a Minecraft 1.12 port of Miner's Delight and requires the original Miner's Delight mod file as a dependency.

Important: Place Miner's Delight Bridge, the original Miner's Delight mod file, and Farmer's Delight Legacy 1.1.2 or newer together in the mods folder. The game cannot start this mod without the original Miner's Delight mod file.

📖 About

Miner's Delight Bridge ports the cave-focused cooking content of Miner's Delight to Minecraft Forge 1.12.2. As an add-on for Farmer's Delight Legacy, it makes culinary progression more accessible while mining and introduces unusual cave ingredients, meals, utensils, and utility blocks.

Explore underground areas, gather unfamiliar ingredients, and prepare practical snacks or elaborate dishes to share with other players.

🎂 Features

Copper pot: A compact cooking utensil intended for quick meals. Soups and stews prepared in it are served in copper cups.

Copper cup: A bucket-like container that cannot hold lava. Cup meals represent smaller portions and can be consumed more quickly, making them useful for sharing and short meal breaks.

🍄 New Ingredients

Cave carrots: A cave crop with a meat-like taste that can serve as a vegan alternative. Wild plants can be collected and replanted.

Gossypium: A flower found growing from wild cave carrots and used to produce string.

Bats: An accessible cave food source whose drops can be improved by using a knife.

Silverfish eggs: An uncommon ingredient that is easier to obtain with the appropriate tool and can be used in unusual dishes.

Arthropods: Cave insect meat intended for protein-rich meals, especially when harvested with a knife.

Squids: A fishing and hunting ingredient whose meat is best obtained carefully with a knife.

📦 New Blocks

Sticky basket: Functions similarly to the Farmer's Delight basket, but its contents are normally extracted through hoppers and entities touching it are heavily hindered. When waterlogged, it loses its adhesion and trapped entities can escape.

It can be used as a protected donation basket, an automated collection block, or a simple entity trap.
