MCA: Conversations 1.6.3 (NeoForge 1.21.1)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
[1.6.3] - 2026-9-8
Refines dialogue, expands MCA Capitals conversations and improves reliability for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge and 1.21.1 NeoForge.
- Reworked everyday dialogue: Rewrote 60 conversation scenes in English and Brazilian Portuguese, fixed contradictory follow-ups and added eight pages of deeper responses.
- Expanded MCA Capitals content: Now includes 55 contextual scenes, with 13 new conversations covering laws, petitions, hearings, ceremonies, community work, loyalty and diplomacy.
- More believable conversations: Replies better reflect personality, trust, privacy and what a villager actually knows. Improved court titles, succession news and rumor sharing.
- Better chat controls: Improved Portuguese reply matching and recognition of complete response phrases. All four Capitals conversation categories now work through free-text chat.
- Age-appropriate topics: Villager age restrictions now apply consistently across dialogue menus, numbered choices and free-text chat.
- More reliable replies: Fixed duplicate, outdated and wrong-target responses. Delayed messages stay in order, and background chatter no longer interrupts an unanswered exchange.
- Improved conversation cleanup: Walking away, changing dimensions, dying or disconnecting properly clears pending conversations. Undelivered chat replies are no longer remembered as heard.
- Correct interaction range: Villagers outside talking distance no longer receive conversation effects or relationship gains for replies the player cannot receive.
- More reliable memories and rewards: Fixed history-saving issues, quest promises, abandoned conversation threads and one-time rewards. Routine history cleanup now protects ongoing conversations and unresolved promises.
- Correct village names: Dialogue displays actual village names instead of broken translation text.
- Safer content reloads: Outdated choices cannot activate after a datapack reload. Duplicate topics produce clear warnings, and misspelled feature settings no longer enable content accidentally.
- Better mod compatibility: Ordinary chat respects messages cancelled or rewritten by other mods. Capitals information no longer carries over between worlds.
- Stronger save protection: Improved handling of oversized histories, added backups when trimming loaded records and protected conversation data written by newer versions.
- Better customization support: Added ten example datapacks with walkthroughs, improved documentation and strengthened build and content checks.
Compatibility: Existing saves and configuration remain supported. Network protocol remains unchanged. Builds and automated content checks passed on both platforms; some in-game checks remain outstanding.
