SMP Improvements
This week was a lot of testing and hardening for SMP. Which is good, we needed it.
- Fixed a bug causing seemingly random GUI behavior in the Runic Altar in SMP
- Fixed a bug that made crafting the Codex abruptly revert its progress clientside, making it look and act permanently empty
- Fixed a bug that caused Astral Sorcery effects to turn gray
- Fixed a bad mod interaction with quark that made Chain Lightning uncraftable
- Fixed a weird bug that sometimes caused Simple Chisel's Connected mode to lock up everything.
- Jera got lost on the way to the party last week. It's arrived now and it's a renewable EMC workhorse.
- Added Fehu Stele. Fehu surveys for wealth, and will consume enormous amounts of nonrenewable valuables to produce astronomical amounts of EMC.
Don't want to wait for rare drops?
I added a config key to remove the 1%-drop-chance Portal-Seared Tome entirely. In simpleBook mode you just dye a regular book purple to get a fully-upgraded Codex. Either delete the config and let it regenerate to see the new key, or insert the following inside the root object:

Because of when recipes happen in the init cycle, this config item can't be synced, so the client and server will have to agree or the server will revert your codex crafting.
Radiant Beacon Sigils are now craftable
There are three at the moment: the Speed and Jump Boost Sigils can be worn as baubles to slightly increase these qualities anywhere, or placed in the radiant beacon to grant their full abilities in a stationary area. The Gravity Control sigil can only be used in the radiant beacon. Effects are sadly still in the works.
Known Issues
If you combine a codex up far, far beyond the normal amount, we're talking over a hundred extra pages, the model will break. This is a cosmetic-only issue and impossible to fix without also supplying a custom model VariantLoader.
JEI still doesn't list the radiance and EMC values for Runic Altar recipes. I'm working on it.
Wunjo and Fehu need more mod support. OpenBlocks mob trophies, Twilight Forest boss trophies, and various industrial mod metals will need to get EMC values assigned very soon.
The mod and the codex really need ongoing localization help. If you're a native speaker of a non-english language and up for a challenge (there's a lot of text to translate already!), let's chat.
