Lucky Tools
Adds a set of tools and equipment for the Lucky Block mod, all found in the Tools Lucky Block.
The Tools Lucky Block spawns naturally in the world. Break it for a 1% chance at one of the items below. Every tool is a 3D animated model.
Tools
- Lucky Radar: right-click a placed Lucky Block to track its type. A compass above your hotbar points to the nearest one and shows the distance.
- Lucky Wand: gamble on a Lucky Block. Spend a third of an XP level, spin the roulette, and lock in a value from 0 to 100. A high roll is a jackpot; a 0 is a "miss", shown red with a curse sound. One roll per block, and you choose when to break it.
- Lucky Shield: deploy a protective dome, 6 block radius for 20 seconds. Everyone inside gets Resistance V, Absorption III, Regeneration II, Fire Resistance and Water Breathing, plus a backup Resurrection. Each shield recharges on its own 2 minute cooldown, with its own recharge animation.
- Lucky Spawner: scan three Lucky Blocks of the same type, then place a fresh one wherever you want.
- Lucky Idol: force a guaranteed top-tier drop from a Lucky Block (a "legendary" in Lucky World Invasion). In exchange you take on a curse: your next breaks are forced toward the worst, cursed drops until it's paid off. Single use. (Called the Lucky Totem before 1.2.6; the ones you already have rename themselves.)
- Lucky Hammer: sacrifice 30 Lucky Blocks to charge it, then reforge a weapon, tool or armor piece at an anvil. Full repair, Unbreaking 100, and genuinely unbreakable. Single use.
- Lucky Ring (Curios): every Lucky Block you break while wearing it raises your luck, up to +30%, with diminishing returns. Each ring keeps its own count.
- Lucky Belt (Curios): doubles your chance at a Tools Lucky Block jackpot.
Modular setup
Lucky Tools is built on two standalone companion mods, both required:
- Lucky Tweaks: fixes the Lucky Block block-luck bug. A block's Luck (from infusion, the Wand, or lucky structures) used to be ignored when you broke the block yourself, so it never affected your drops. It counts now. Lucky Tweaks also adds per-block luck caps and block fusion, and the Wand, Ring and Belt all feed their luck through it.
- Lucky Stats: the stats screen (press L) and the movable HUD. Track average luck, blocks broken, legendary and cursed drops, playtime, and more. Lucky Tools adds its own Wand stats here, like rolls and average rolled luck.
Pulling these out means any mod can reuse them, not just Lucky Tools.
Requires
