Place a golden egg. Break it in Survival. See what hatches.
A break can drop a bundle of supplies, raise a mossy wish fountain, or start a countdown. Some surprises reward a quick reaction. Others are a good reason to run.
Break a Lucky Egg in Survival. In this run, it drops items.
- Loot and pranks. Find food, tools, building materials and rare prizes. You might also meet a roaming creature or trigger a trap.
- Interactive encounters. Toss a coin into a wish fountain, press the button on an amber shell, or chase a fleeing courier.
- Weighted luck. The egg’s fortune and your Luck affect the odds across 155 built-in entries. Recent results are less likely to repeat when other entries are available.
- Modded rewards. When enabled, Lucky Egg adds eligible items and blocks from installed mods to its reward pools. With only Lucky Egg installed, the built-in outcomes are used.
Two example encounters: the Wish Fountain and the Amber Shell. Watch them resolve and clear away.
- Open a crafting table and put the regular egg in the center slot.
- Place one gold ingot above, below, left and right of the egg. Leave all four corners empty.
- Take one Lucky Egg from the output slot.
Place the Lucky Egg and break it in Survival. For a quick test with commands enabled, use /give @s luckyegg:lucky_egg 16.
Server owners can adjust reward discovery and terrain behavior in config/luckyegg.json.
