Fieldframe brings modern tactical equipment to Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge, combining pixel-style models with an interactive loadout system. Customize your plate carrier, helmet, and belt with equipment suited to your playstyle.

Attachments appear on your character. Click mounting points on your equipped gear to choose compatible accessories, then rotate the view to inspect your loadout.

Modular Equipment

Build your loadout around equipment such as the JPC, AVS MBAV, Ops-Core FAST, MICH2000, and Ronin Senshi. Add magazine pouches, utility pouches, back panels, headsets, night vision mounts, counterweights, and flag patches.

Each platform has its own mounting points and attachment requirements. Some accessories require a compatible base or rail. Combat clothing, gloves, pants, boots, and watches complete the look.

Front and Rear Armor Plates

Choose from six plate types: aramid soft armor, steel, lightweight polyethylene, reinforced ceramic composite, alumina ceramic composite, and lightweight silicon carbide composite.

Front and rear plates protect their respective torso regions against incoming ranged attacks. Each plate has its own per-hit absorption limit, durability, and weight:

• Durability is consumed according to the damage actually absorbed.
• Damage exceeding the plate’s capacity continues through the wearer’s normal defenses.
• Total plate weight affects movement speed.
• Installation, replacement, and removal feature first- and third-person animations with sound effects.
• Item tooltips display the condition and remaining durability of both plates.

Night Vision and Lighting

Equip GPNVG panoramic goggles or a PVS-14 monocular, with white- and green-phosphor variants available. Night vision includes flip animations, lens masks, image noise, and near/far focus settings.

Light your surroundings with an M300C flashlight or a reading light offering white and red modes, and add a HEL-STAR 6 strobe to your helmet. Light-source glare fades with viewing angle and distance.

Optional realistic darkness offers Dim, Dark, and Pitch Black settings. Pitch Black makes unlit areas fully dark, giving lighting and night vision equipment a greater role in exploration.

M50 Gas Mask

The M50 can be worn in the vanilla helmet slot or the Curios mask slot. It features a first-person mask overlay and a filter durability display.

Both filters can be installed, replaced, and removed, with screw-in and screw-out animations and sound effects. Each filter has 150 durability, with the left filter consumed first.

A configurable protected-effects list lets you specify status effects by ID. Optional integration also provides protection against Zombie Extreme radiation. The list covers status effects; gas systems that deal damage directly may require dedicated integration.

Storage and Configuration

Supported storage attachments carry items, with ammunition or magazine storage integrations for TaCZ, TaCZ Magazines, and Point Blank.

Additional chest armor can be enabled through an item-ID whitelist, allowing it to use Fieldframe’s front/rear plate system and plate tooltips. This gives modpack creators more flexibility when combining equipment from different mods.
