JRH Elves is not a mob pack. It is a town. Somewhere in your world one elven town takes root on its own, and its residents live on a schedule where they work their trades through the day, keep their shops, and go home when the sun sets. You can find that town, trade with it, and build your own.
Requires Fabric API.
One town, once, on its own
Every world gets one naturally founded elven town. It picks its own site, clears and levels the ground, and raises its first buildings - a tower, a well, and the beginnings of a settlement. Finding it is the discovery. It only ever happens in the overworld, so the mod sits quietly alongside anything that owns another dimension.
Residents with somewhere to be
The elves are not decoration standing at a workstation. They have professions, and they have a day: work, trade, and home at dusk. A town you walk through in the morning does not look like the same town at nightfall, because the people in it have moved on to something else.
Build your own
You are not limited to the town you find. Deeds let you place Elven buildings yourself and grow a settlement of your own design. Placement is on purpose, a deed refuses ground that is obstructed or too uneven rather than bulldozing your build so that what goes up sits properly on the land.
An economy with real prices
The town runs on a broad currency basket rather than a single coin, and every building and every resident is priced from what it costs to place. Nothing in the settlement is free, which means expanding a town is a genuine project rather than a cheat button.
Features
• One naturally founded Elven town per world, sited and levelled automatically
• Schedule-driven residents who work, trade, go to the theater, visit the library, pay homage to the shrine, and return home
• Multiple Elven professions, each on its own custom model.
• Deeds for founding and expanding your own settlement.
• A full settlement economy with costed buildings and residents.
• Overworld only, by design, so it coexists cleanly with dimension mods.
• Server friendly, with gated admin commands.
Getting started
• Explore. The natural town builds itself somewhere in the overworld without any input from you.
• Craft a deed and place your first building on flat, clear ground.
• Expand from there - each addition costs, so plan the settlement rather than spamming it.
