🗺️ JourneyColonies

Make JourneyMap 6+ work with MineColonies again.

JourneyColonies is a small compatibility fix for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge that allows MineColonies to work with JourneyMap 6.0.2 again.

🔧 What does it fix?

Forge detects JourneyMap 6.0.2 with the version:

1.20.1-6.0.2

However, MineColonies expects a normal version number such as:

6.0.2

Because of this difference, Forge can block MineColonies before Minecraft even finishes starting.

JourneyColonies fixes only this version mismatch during the early loading process:

1.20.1-6.0.2 ➜ 6.0.2

After that, MineColonies and JourneyMap load normally, allowing MineColonies' own existing JourneyMap integration to work again.

✅ What JourneyColonies does

• 🗺️ Restores compatibility between MineColonies and JourneyMap 6.0.2

• 🔧 Normalizes JourneyMap's detected version during early loading

• 🏰 Allows MineColonies' existing JourneyMap integration to load normally

• ⚡ Does not change normal gameplay

❌ What JourneyColonies does NOT add

JourneyColonies is intentionally a very small compatibility mod.

It does not add:

• Custom markers

• Custom map overlays

• New buttons or menus

• Configuration options

• New gameplay mechanics

• Its own colony rendering system

All map integration still comes directly from MineColonies itself.
