Jewelcraft Reforged
Craft jewelry that suits your playstyle. Mix metals and gemstones to create rings, amulets, bracelets, and circlets, each with its own appearance and useful bonuses. Supports over 1000+ combinations, including multiple mods.
Features
- Jeweler’s Bench: A dedicated workstation with vanilla-style textures. Add ingots and a gemstone, choose your jewelry, and craft.
- Mix-and-match materials: Your metal, gemstone, and jewelry shape determine your bonuses. Supported mods add more material choices.
- Jeweler villagers: Place a bench for an unemployed villager to claim. Trade materials and gems, then unlock jewelry and enchanted pieces as they level up.
- Jewelry enchantments: Attract dropped items, swim faster, improve combat, help nearby crops grow, and more.
- Recover your gems: Craft jewelry with shears to retrieve its inset. The metal frame and enchantments are lost.
- Optional JEI support: Browse recipes and transfer ingredients directly into the bench.
Getting started
Craft a Jeweler’s Bench using 2 iron ingots and 5 planks. Each piece needs one gemstone plus:
- 4 ingots: Ring or amulet
- 5 ingots: Bracelet
- 7 ingots: Circlet
Equip your jewelry in its Curios slot to receive its effects. Hold Shift over a piece for more details. You can use the bench without a villager.

Original Project, Credits, and License
Jewelcraft Reforged is an independent fork and continuation of Jewelcraft, originally created by Jusey1. The Reforged continuation is maintained by Otectus for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge.
Credit for the original Jewelcraft project and its original work remains with Jusey1 and the upstream contributors, including Burack. Reforged builds upon their work rather than claiming the original mod as its own creation. This is an independently maintained project and does not claim endorsement by the original author.

How Jewelcraft Reforged Differs
Reforged is not an unchanged re-upload. It reworks and expands the original jewelry system, including:
- Modular jewelry and additional equipment forms. The original fixed jewelry items are replaced with a modular system covering rings, amulets, bracelets, and circlets. Players select a metal, an inset, and a jewelry form.
- Separate frame and gem bonuses. Metals provide bonuses that depend on the jewelry's form, while insets provide their own innate bonuses. Revised stacking rules and stat caps govern how these effects combine.
- Expanded material compatibility and inset recovery. Optional, configurable integrations expand the catalog to 34 metals and 58 inset options when the relevant provider mods are installed. Insets can be recovered using shears; recovery consumes the jewelry setting and its enchantments.
- Reworked effects, balance, and usability. Changes include gradual Magnetic item attraction instead of teleportation, revised inventory-totem handling, corrections to crop-growth and status-effect behavior, server-synchronized configuration, clearer numerical tooltips, recipe unlocks, and revised relic loot probabilities.
See the Reforged changelog for a more detailed breakdown.
Installation and Existing Worlds
Curios is required. Do not install Jewelcraft Reforged alongside the original Jewelcraft: both use the jewelcraft mod ID.
Back up existing worlds before switching. The current Reforged version removes the original fixed jewelry item IDs without a migration path. Existing jewelry using those removed IDs will be lost.
