SiegeCore 1.1.1 - Bugfix & Performance Update

Version 1.1.1 focuses heavily on stability, performance and several issues related to player deaths, wave progression, rewards and entity handling.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Siege mobs freezing after player death / respawn.
Siege mobs could remain with their AI disabled after the player died, allowing them to be attacked without fighting back after respawning.
  • Fixed player deaths incorrectly completing Siege waves.
Previously, Siege mobs that were temporarily unloaded could incorrectly be treated as dead. This caused wave rewards to be granted even though the mobs were still alive.
  • Fixed incorrect mob kill detection.
SiegeCore now uses actual entity death events instead of treating unloaded or temporarily unavailable entities as defeated.
  • Fixed incorrect wave and boss progress after player death.
Wave counters, kill counters and boss-related progress should no longer be affected by temporary entity unloading during death or respawn.
  • Improved reward claiming.
Item rewards are now given directly to the player's inventory instead of relying on a command-based reward system.
  • If the player's inventory is full, remaining reward items will be dropped near the player instead of silently disappearing.
  • Fixed cases where a player could receive Siege Tokens while other configured reward items were not delivered correctly

Performance Improvements

  • Removed expensive reflection calls that were previously executed repeatedly for Siege mobs during server ticks.
  • SiegeCore now uses direct Minecraft 26.2 APIs for attacker and damage tracking.
  • Reduced unnecessary entity scans during active Sieges.
  • Recovery scans are now limited to situations where a Siege actually needs to be restored after loading.
  • Reduced unnecessary entity data and tag updates during normal mob ticking.
  • Improved handling of Siege mob tracking to prevent unnecessary long-term UUID storage.
  • Reduced unnecessary updates related to sunlight/fire protection for Siege mobs

Reward System

Siege Tokens remain part of the normal Siege completion rewards. Additional configured rewards such as Emeralds, Diamonds, Golden Apples and Experience Bottles are also supported depending on the configured reward chances.

Version 1.1.1 improves the reliability of these rewards and prevents item rewards from being lost during the claim process.

Important

This update is strongly recommended for all players using SiegeCore 1.1.0, especially when playing longer Sieges or when players die during an active wave.
