  • Officially ported to Minecraft 1.20.4 NeoForge using our new Decoupled Adapter Architecture.
  • Brings the complete InSight Chests tactile storage experience to the NeoForge ecosystem: smooth cinematic camera transitions, client-side 3D physical item tumbling & collision, frosted glassmorphism interface, and non-intrusive container scaling.

Full Iron Chests 1.20.4 NeoForge Integration

• Playable with Iron Chests on NeoForge
  • InSight Chests 1.20.4 NeoForge is fully compatible and integrated with Iron Chests 1.20.4 (NeoForge) out of the box!
  • All Tiers Supported: Dirt, Copper (45 slots), Iron (54 slots), Gold (81 slots), Diamond (108 slots), Crystal (108 slots), and Obsidian (108 slots).
  • Material Cavities: Tailored mineral cavity textures for each chest tier, with normalized 0.0–1.0 UV mapping to prevent diamond texture distortion.
  • Crystal Chest Transparent Glass: Features a transparent glass interior cavity (textures/block/glass.png) with alpha blending, allowing you to see through the chest walls into the outside world.
  • Oversized GUI Scaling: Automatically scales down 81-slot (Gold) and 108-slot (Diamond/Crystal/Obsidian) container screens via ironChestsOversizedGuiScale (Default: 0.80).
  • Independent Iron Chests Global Cap: Configure item caps for Iron Chests independently via enableIronChestsGlobalItemCap without affecting Vanilla chests.

Important Note Regarding Shaders on 1.20.4 NeoForge

• Shader Compatibility Disclaimer
  • Please note that this 1.20.4 NeoForge release has not been tested with shaderpacks.
  • OptiFine does not support modern NeoForge, and while Iris/Sodium-compatible alternatives exist on Fabric, official and stable NeoForge builds for 1.20.4 were unavailable in my testing environment.
  • InSight Chests has been thoroughly tested and verified under standard vanilla rendering on 1.20.4 NeoForge. If you test this build with third-party shader/rendering mods (such as Iris/Embeddium NeoForge forks) and encounter any visual glitches or bugs, please submit an issue report so we can address it!
