Important Notice: Iron Chests & Future NeoForge Port

Please Note regarding Iron Chests compatibility on Forge 1.20.4:
Starting with Minecraft 1.20.4, the Iron Chests mod has officially migrated its active development exclusively to NeoForge.
Because of this platform shift in the modding ecosystem:

• While this Forge 1.20.4 build of InSight Chests still includes the internal compatibility and physics logic for Iron Chests, it will not and cannot be triggered on Forge 1.20.4 simply because Iron Chests 1.20.4 does not exist on the Forge loader.
• Rest assured: This code is completely inert and harmless—it will never cause any crashes, errors, or conflicts. You can freely enjoy the full tactile 3D experience with all standard Vanilla containers (Single, Double, Ender Chests, etc.) as normal.
• Looking Ahead: Development has begun on expanding InSight Chests to other Modding APIs. An InSight Chests 1.20.4 NeoForge edition will be released in the future to seamlessly pair with Iron Chests 1.20.4 NeoForge. While a specific release date cannot be guaranteed due to a demanding work and study schedule, it is actively planned and in progress!

Port to Minecraft 1.20.4 & Architectural Decoupling

• Minecraft 1.20.4 Forge Support

  • InSight Chests v1.0.4 is now officially compiled and ready for Minecraft 1.20.4 Forge.
  • Includes all signature features: cinematic glide camera, dynamic 3D item physics simulation, frosted glassmorphism interface, customizable GUI positions, and intelligent Global Item Cap controls.

• Decoupled Adapter Architecture

  • Built upon our rewritten Decoupled Adapter Architecture, isolating core rendering and physical simulation logic from platform-specific Forge/Minecraft hooks.
  • This architecture ensures long-term stability and paves the way for rapid ports across multiple Minecraft versions and loaders (NeoForge/Fabric).

• As with any new Minecraft version port, if you run into any visual glitches, unexpected camera behavior, or mod conflicts, please report them to our issue tracker. Thank you for your continued support!
