What does this mod do?
In vanilla Minecraft, when a water block is next to at least two source blocks, it becomes a source block itself, which allows collection of infinite water. This mod allows you to configure which fluids have this behavior.
How do I use this mod?
You need Minecraft Forge installed first. Once that's done, just drop infinitefluids-version.jar in your Minecraft instance's mods/ directory and configure it to taste. (Configuration is not optional; if left unconfigured, this mod won't change anything.)
What settings does this mod have?
You can specify lists of fluids that will be infinite, with separate lists for inside and outside the Nether (and any mod-added dimensions where water can't be placed). Alternatively, you can invert the lists, so that all fluids are infinite except for those specified.
What name do I use for fluids in the configuration?
Use the name of the fluid's block that you'd use with /setblock. Examples:
- Vanilla water is "minecraft:water"
- Vanilla lava is "minecraft:lava"
- Minecraft 1.10.2: Tinkers' Construct liquid blue slime is "tconstruct:blueslime"
- Minecraft 1.7.10: Tinkers' Construct liquified slime is "TConstruct:liquid.slime"
- Minecraft 1.7.10: BuildCraft oil is "BuildCraft|Energy:blockOil"
Minecraft 1.7.10: If you don't know this name, you can use Waila to see it by turning on its "Show ID:Metadata" and "Liquids" settings.
When using pumps, why do infinite fluid sources run out?
Your pumps are probably taking source blocks faster than they regenerate. Try using a larger source pool. This will allow multiple source blocks to regenerate at the same time, so they can keep up with the pumps.
Can I use this in my modpack?
Yes, even if you monetize it with adf.ly or something, and you don't need to ask me for my permission first.
waiting for this to be available in 1.19 pls
what is the command to enable?
With tinker's back for 1.16 hope to see this updated soon.
Hey, so i've been using your mod in my modpacks for ages and i was wondering and hoping that you might be updating this for 1.16.* (and maybe lower) fairly soon since i can't find one that works as well as your and is as easy to use, love the great work you've put in and hopefully it'll continue.
In reply to Zeentch:
I do plan to update this, but I'm not sure when.
In reply to josephcsible:
Ah okay, well i'm just gonna sit and wait for the update then, thank you for your reply. :) and again thank you for your good work.
In reply to josephcsible:
Please update for 1.16.+!

In reply to rpxdytx:
There's an in-game config.
In reply to josephcsible:

Does this work like Realistic Fluids Overhaul?
I've been looking for a remake of that for ages.

In reply to Turbotowns:
Yes.

If you are still in doubt, test by yourself or simply go to files and see the version for the files

how make all fluid in all dimension infinite ? And how config the mods
In reply to Forge_User_63093319:
To make all fluids in all dimensions infinite, make sure both fluidsOutsideNether and fluidsInsideNether are empty, and that both invertOutsideNether and invertInsideNether are true. You can configure the mod either in-game through Mod Options, or out-of-game by editing infinitefluids.cfg (after you've started the game with it at least once).
In reply to josephcsible:
I've tried this and nothing's happened. I did restart with it once. It's not working for any fluid. Nothing's flowing infinitely.
In reply to ickyrblx:
Can you post the contents of your infinitefluids.cfg so I can make sure the change is right? Also, can you reproduce the problem with no other mods installed? If not, which pack are you playing? Can you figure out which other mod is causing it?
