Changelog
beta-05011401 - 2026-07-27
Added
- Added Friendly PvP to the formal runtime. Players can switch modes from the hotbar, select an online opponent, invite them through MessageBar, confirm Ready, and play on a shared four-lane entity board.
- Added formal 12+8 PvP deck construction with separate main- and side-deck rules, copy limits, saved profiles, and a complete legal card pool independent of warehouse ownership.
- Added complete PvP exits for invitation rejection or expiry, pre-match cancellation, surrender, negotiated draws, action timeout, disconnect grace, and automatic disconnect defeat.
- Added persistent protection for ordinary player items temporarily isolated by an active Infinite Card session.
Changed
- Unified Infinite Card GUI transitions so linked screens preserve the cursor position instead of repeatedly recentering it.
- Competitive mode, its deck builder, full competitive codex, event listeners, and MessageBar command links are no longer controlled by the Debug-content switch.
Fixed
- Fixed PvP terminal cleanup so player-state protection remains active until attack animations, arena restoration, inventory restoration, and session cleanup have all completed.
- Fixed stale PvP hand cards and tools surviving a failed session recovery; orphaned runtime items are removed before the normal mode hotbar is restored.
- Fixed pending invitations allowing a player to switch modes before cancelling or resolving the invitation.
Known Limitations
- Collectible card finishes are currently represented in warehouse, item, and inspection presentation only. Finish-specific creature glow is not available during live battles in this candidate.
Validation
- Passed
compileJava. - Passed
compileClientJava. - Passed all 177 JVM tests.
- Passed strict source and formal-output resource validation: 48 manifest paths, 0 warnings.
- Full release build is reserved for the project owner.
