HYW Recruitment Manager

Build your own armies for Hundred Years Warfare using vanilla and modded mobs. Turn creatures from across your modpack into custom units, organize factions, and command your forces through HYW’s recruitment and RTS systems.

Features

• Custom units: Choose a mob and unit category, then customize its equipment, enchantments, attributes, size, effects, and behavior.
• Factions and recruitment: Create and edit factions, organize unit levels, and set item and XP recruitment costs. Recruit your units through HYW’s recruitment interface, scrolls, and banners.
• RTS control: Command units with movement, attack, follow, patrol, hold, queued orders, and formations.
• Mounts and siege units: Create custom mounts, configure multiple passenger seats, and enable autonomous mount control. Build siege transports that carry and deploy troops.
• Flight and swimming: Adjust flight and swimming heights, with travel controls for mobs that support multiple movement modes.
• Combat customization: Preserve a mob’s original AI or enable AI Override. Configure shields, ranged combat, arrow volleys, and optional Better Combat support for compatible humanoids.
• Natural spawning: Create individual encounters or groups with biome, height, light, time, and player-distance settings. Configure group leaders, recruitment costs, and custom loot.
• Digging and breakthrough: Assign digging tasks or allow suitable units to break through permitted obstacles.
• Shareable configurations: Save and share faction and natural spawn configurations for others to use.

Performance & Compatibility

Optimized with large battles and armies in mind, including improvements to mounted units, repeated unit checks, combat searches, and pathfinding. Configurable pathfinding workload settings let you balance responsiveness and server load. Performance varies depending on army size, terrain, hardware, and the complexity of each mob’s AI.

Requires Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge and Hundred Years Warfare version 0.7.1r-fix1-1.20.1-forge or newer. Other creature mods and Better Combat are optional. Future HYW releases may require compatibility updates.

The mod accepts the supported HYW version and newer releases, although future HYW changes may require updates.
