Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Added
- MTR integration: reads MTR's stations and lines (reflective, read-only); train / cable car become rail, boat becomes water, other types are left alone; a stop sits at the midpoint of the station's platforms.
- MTR track marks: plans each pair of neighbouring stops over MTR's rails and marks the track the line actually uses (read-only rail / water roads), with a switch per line.
- MTR memory: lines, stations and track that have been read are merged and kept, so walking out of sync range does not lose them.
- Public transport lines (
L): build a line in three columns on one screen; lines have a type and an unconnectable stop is drawn in red; a read-only line can be copied as your own; waiting time feeds the estimate. - Map display panel: a switch per road class, per place kind and for the lines, draggable and rollable, with its position remembered.
- Zoom shedding: paths → roads → waterways → railways, in that order; highways, ice roads and the lines are never hidden.
- One-way roads (
O): two-way / one-way forwards / one-way backwards, applied to the whole street, drawn as arrows on the map, obeyed by every travel mode including walking. - Place kinds: place / resource / shop / station.
- Interchanges: a stop shared by several lines is drawn as an orange square, fused only when the markers overlap on screen.
- "Road repair"
repair_road_joins: roads that cross or stop a block short of each other are joined up before routing. - MCPhone compatibility: a "HowToGo navigation" app is added to the phone.
Changed
- Names: the size follows the zoom (shrinking to a legible floor, growing very slowly when zoomed in); names on a line are written along the line; a name wider than the whole road is not drawn; a name closes in on its marker as it shrinks.
- Connector distance: walking now effectively has no limit (4096 blocks); driving and public transport stay at 64 blocks.
- The map display panel is a screen overlay: nothing the map draws covers it, and clicks on it are not taken by the map.
- Lines, stops, markers and names no longer trail half a frame behind while the map is being panned.
Configuration and data files
- New options:
repair_road_joins,transit_wait_seconds,mtr_transit,mtr_auto_route_marks. - New data files:
<dimension>-lines.json(public transport lines) andmap_filter.json(display switches and panel position).
