Hit Indication 2.0.1 (MC 26.3, NeoForge)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Bug-fix release.
- "Heavy damage makes indicator larger" now really makes heavy hits larger (it used to shrink them). The blow that disables a shield draws its block indicator at twice the size.
- Splash potions only show an indicator to players they actually affected, one per potion per hit. Lingering potions show one when their cloud affects a player, including players who walk in later, not the moment they shatter.
- Instant Damage indicators report the health actually lost.
- Lowering "Max Indicator Count" applies straight away.
- Indicators no longer point the wrong way far from the world origin.
- Edge of Screen mode: indicators no longer stick partly off screen at diagonal angles.
- Turning hit indication, block indicators or crit/kill markers off also hides those already on screen. Respawning clears old indicators.
- A kill marker is no longer replaced by a crit marker for the same blow.
- Fabric: hits that kill the player now show their indicator, as on NeoForge.
- Fabric: a malformed config file is kept as a backup instead of being overwritten, and saves can no longer leave it half-written.
- NeoForge: editing the config file by hand right after pressing a toggle key is no longer ignored.
- The mod's in-game name is now "Hit Indication (Port)".
