The most important changes/additions are:

• Wings and keybinds for toggling jetpacks and the like
• Coltan, a resource that is limited by default which plays a large role in 528 mode
• Anvils, earlygame processing machines
• RBMK columns with built-in moderation
• Improved worldgen with schist layers
• Volcanoes and volcano missiles
• Nether depth rock deposits
• Larger tanks and magnetic storage units
• Self-charging batteries, like RTGs in item form
• Liquid and gaseous nuclear wastes
• Fractioning tower which has the same oil processing recipes as the chemical plant but as a dedicated machine
• Improved gas mask system, every mask can now have any filter
• Coal now creates hazardous coal dust when mined
• Using steam turbines now requires the use of condensers or cooling towers
• The aforementioned cooling towers, come in different varieties
