Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
These additions are about slipping in some convenience. Specifically, some attempts at simplifying the relationship between storage, backpacks, inventory, aircraft storage, etc across our candidate mods. My testing revealed (well, not so much revealed as emphasised), the issue with inventory management in such a large mod. So i've tried to simplify the integration between our various gameplay elements.
Now:
- When you have a backpack and are in an aircraft with a full player inventory but empty slots in the backpack, shift-clicking items in the aircraft storage moves items from the aircraft storage to your backpack.
- When you have a backpack and you shift click items within it and your normal inventory is full, but you're in an aircraft, items move from the backpack, to available aircraft storage.
These changes make exploration for large-scale resource gathering with aircraft much more convenient and dare i say it pleasurable.
But what about dropping things off at home and planning for your next trips!
- Double clicking on a limited storage interface from sophisticated storage used to only transfer items from your inventory to your storage, ignoring items in your backpacks. Now includes any items in a backpack you are wearing as well.
- Taking items out of limited storage? After your inventory becomes full, they can now go automatically to empty slots in your backpack without being dropped on the ground first.
What about chests?
- Shift clicking on items in a chest while wearing a backpack and with a full player inventory now transfers items to empty backpack slots.
What about furnaces?
- Shift clicking on items in the furnace output while wearing a backpack and with a full player inventory now transfers items to backpack slots.
