FTB Chunks FPS Boost

FTB Chunks FPS Boost is a lightweight client-side optimization mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge.

It improves FTB Chunks minimap performance by tracking map region changes and reducing redundant texture uploads to the GPU. Unchanged map tiles are skipped, while adjacent updated tiles are combined into fewer upload operations.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1

• Forge 47.4.0 or newer

• FTB Chunks 2001.3.8 or newer

Installation

1. Install the required version of Forge.

2. Install FTB Chunks and its required dependencies.

3. Place this mod in your client-side mods folder.

4. Start Minecraft.

This mod does not need to be installed on the server.

Compatibility

This version is designed for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge and FTB Chunks 2001.3.8 or newer.

Using the mod with unsupported Minecraft or FTB Chunks versions is not recommended.

Notes

Performance improvements may vary depending on hardware, minimap settings, explored area and modpack size.

If you are updating from an older build, remove the previous JAR before installing the new one.
