FramedBlocks – Unofficial Community Port

This is an unofficial community port of FramedBlocks for Minecraft 26.2.

This project is not an official FramedBlocks release and is not maintained or supported by the original FramedBlocks developer.

About

This project brings FramedBlocks to Minecraft 26.2, allowing players and modpacks to continue using its extensive collection of customizable building and decorative blocks on the newer Minecraft version.

FramedBlocks adds blocks in a huge variety of shapes that can be made to look like almost any other block in the game.

This makes it possible to create detailed builds using slopes, corners, panels, stairs, pillars, fences, doors, windows and many other shapes while matching them to the materials used in your build.

The purpose of this project is to maintain Minecraft 26.2 compatibility until an official version for 26.2 becomes available.

Features

FramedBlocks provides a huge collection of customizable building blocks, including:

  • Slopes & Corners – Multiple slope, prism and corner variants for detailed structures.
  • Slabs & Panels – Thin and compact shapes for more precise building.
  • Stairs & Pillars – Numerous standard, vertical, divided and sloped variants.
  • Fences, Walls & Gates – Customizable boundaries that match your builds.
  • Doors & Trapdoors – Framed wooden and iron variants.
  • Windows & Panes – Including one-way windows and horizontal panes.
  • Rails & Rail Slopes – Standard and fancy rail variants.
  • Functional Blocks – Chests, buttons, pressure plates, levers, redstone blocks and more.
  • Special Shapes – Collapsible blocks, lattices, pyramids, mini cubes and many other specialized building pieces.

Most Framed Blocks can be given the appearance of another block, allowing the same shape to blend naturally into your build.

Usage

Right-click a Framed Block with a compatible solid block to apply its appearance as a camo.

FramedBlocks also provides several tools for working with framed blocks:

Framed Hammer – Removes camo and modifies certain block properties and shapes.

Framed Wrench – Rotates Framed Blocks. Rotation behavior may depend on the face that is clicked.

Framed Screwdriver – Cycles through different camo states and interacts with certain special features.

Framed Blueprint – Copies Framed Blocks together with their camo and glowing state.

Framed Key – Locks supported Framed Blocks in their current shape to suppress neighbor updates.

Blocks can also support features such as fluid camo, glowing states, rotation, custom shapes and configurable intangibility.

Minecraft 26.2

This unofficial build has been updated and tested for:

Minecraft: 26.2
Mod Loader: NeoForge
Java: 25
Environment: Client & Server

The port has been successfully built and tested in-game on Minecraft 26.2.

Please keep in mind that this is still an unofficial community port. Bugs or compatibility issues may occur that are not present in official FramedBlocks releases.

How This Port Differs From the Original

The original FramedBlocks project currently does not provide an official release for Minecraft 26.2.

This unofficial port modifies the original FramedBlocks source code where necessary to provide compatibility with Minecraft 26.2 and the corresponding NeoForge APIs.

The changes made for this project are primarily compatibility and API adjustments required for Minecraft 26.2. The intention is to preserve the functionality and behavior of the original FramedBlocks project rather than create a separate replacement for it.

No ownership of the original project or its content is claimed.
