Description

Items that other mods left behind, brought back as relics.
Remember the Wind Sail, the Luggage, the Linking Book or the Harvest Goddess Band? Many beloved items vanished when their mods were discontinued or never updated. Forsaken Relics brings 27 of them back to NeoForge 1.21.1, each reimagined as a relic with its own abilities, modes and rank bonuses, and hidden in fitting loot chests.
All art and code are new. Nothing is copied from the original mods; the relics only carry on their ideas.
Highlights

Works on its own, better together
Every other mod is optional.
- With Relics: the relics level up, rank up and are researched just like the relics of Relics itself, with its screens, upgradeable stats and mode selection.
- Without Relics: every relic works at a fixed stage, weaker than a fully upgraded one but always useful. The tooltip shows the abilities and their values (hold Shift), and the mode key (default G) switches the mode of the relic in your hand.
- With Curios: wearable relics go into their slots (charm, belt, necklace, back, body, bracelet, ring, head, shoulders and a quiver slot of their own) and show on your character there. They also work from anywhere in your inventory, with or without Curios.
- With Apotheosis: eight extra affixes that only roll on the Shadow Glaive.
- With Reliquified Artifacts: the relics count for Mimi-Dust. Put relics you do not need into a chest, dust it, and the mimic drops as many random relics as went in.
The relics

| Relic | From | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Shadow Glaive | Relics (removed) | A thrown glaive that ricochets between enemies; full charges release a shadow saw. |
| Repair Talisman | ProjectE | Repairs your gear in pulses, mends nearby players and turns experience into repairs. |
| Sword of the Zephyr | Thaumcraft | Whirlwind spin attacks and a wind guard that throws projectiles back. |
| Harvest Goddess Band | ProjectE | Reaps ripe crops around you (modded crops like Mystical Agriculture too), replants them and nudges growing plants. |
| Evertide & Volcanite Amulet | ProjectE | Places water or lava like a bucket; water breathing or fire immunity. |
| Wind Sail | OpenBlocks | Glide lying flat under a sail, cruise or hover; friends drift down with you. |
| Soul & Body Stone | ProjectE | Pulses of healing or nourishment, and a cleanse for harmful effects. |
| Linking Book | Mystcraft | Travel home, to your last death or to a written page, and back again. |
| Golden Eye | OpenBlocks | Flies towards the nearest structure you choose; reveals unopened loot chests. |
| Luggage | OpenBlocks | A walking trunk that follows you, picks up items, bites enemies and stashes your loot. |
| Crimson Blade | Thaumcraft | Curses its targets with bleeding, weakness or wither; trade hearts for strength. |
| Divining Rod | ProjectE | Counts the ores beneath you and chimes when precious ore is near. |
| Key of the King's Law | Botania | Golden portals open behind you and fire swords; a ring of portals for the final strike. |
| Thundercaller | Botania | A bow whose arrows chain lightning and call down storms. |
| Holy Cloak | Botania | Virtue, Sin and Balance in one cloak: absorbs or returns hits, saves you when low. |
| Moonworm Queen | Twilight Forest | Shoots glowing moonworms that stick to any surface as lights, and calls them back. |
| Pickarang | Quark | A pickaxe thrown like a boomerang: tunnels, fetches loot and grinds out whole faces. |
| Trowel | Quark | Builds with random blocks from your hotbar for natural-looking walls, one at a time or like a construction wand (surface, row, column) with a preview; retextures and weathers. |
| Skillet | Farmer's Delight | Bonk enemies (stun, sear, flip) and cook food right in the pan. |
| Quiver | Supplementaries | Holds several kinds of arrows for bows and crossbows; arrows fly back home. |
| Lunch Basket | Supplementaries | Holds food and feeds you when you get hungry. |
| Shoulder Dragon | Ice and Fire | A baby dragon on your shoulder breathes fire, ice or lightning at what you hit, even at the Wither. |
| Silken Bracelet | Tinkers' Construct | Every block drops as if your tool had Silk Touch, or more Fortune. |
| Miner's Ring | Enigmatic Legacy | The deeper you are, the faster you mine; ore veins glow through the stone. |
| Witch Hat | Witchery | Potions last longer, splash potions too; nearby brewing stands brew faster. |
| Sonic Glasses | OpenBlocks | See every sound around you through walls, with the creature that made it; warns of danger. |
| Wind Staff | Hexxit | Rides the wind like a jet: hold to fly where you look, or leap; raises a cyclone that spins your foes up. |
Each relic has two abilities (the Trowel three), several modes and rank bonuses. Wearable relics show on your character: the cloak on your back, the dragon on your shoulder, the hat and the glasses on your head.
Where to find them
There are no crafting recipes. Like the relics of Relics itself, every relic turns up in chests, chosen by the chest's loot table, its biome and its dimension: the Moonworm Queen in dark forests, the Divining Rod in mines, the Shoulder Dragon in the mountains and the Nether, and so on.
Fair play
The relics are built to never duplicate items or experience. Containers inside relics (quiver, lunch basket, luggage) move real items only, block breaking and placing respect claims and protection mods, and cooldowns survive relogging.
