What's new
Flux Foundry 0.2.0-beta.1 — Powered Industry
Flux Foundry expands beyond power infrastructure with its first generation of powered processing machines, lava-based energy generation, automation, and recipe-viewer support.
Added
-
Geothermal Generator
-
Generates 100 FE/t from lava
-
4,000 mB internal lava tank
-
Produces 100,000 FE per bucket
-
Supports standard NeoForge fluid insertion and lava buckets
-
Stops consuming lava when its energy buffer is full
-
-
Crusher
-
FE-powered material processing
-
Crush raw iron, copper, and gold into nuggets
-
Process ores into raw materials
-
Crush cobblestone into gravel and gravel into sand
-
Designed without excessive ore multiplication or unnecessary dust items
-
-
Powered Furnace
-
Smelts using FE instead of fuel
-
Uses standard vanilla and compatible datapack smelting recipes
-
Processes recipes at approximately twice vanilla furnace speed
-
Typical smelting operation consumes 2,000 FE
-
-
Alloy Smelter
-
Two-input powered processing
-
Initial recipes include:
-
Iron + Redstone → Compass
-
Gold + Redstone → Clock
-
-
Fully data-driven for future datapack recipes
-
-
Machine GUIs
-
Inventory slots
-
FE display
-
Processing progress
-
Machine status
-
-
Automation
-
Hopper-compatible machine inputs and outputs
-
Standard NeoForge item, energy, and fluid capabilities
-
Processing machines accept power from compatible third-party FE systems
-
-
Data-driven processing recipes
-
New
fluxfoundry:crushingrecipe type -
New
fluxfoundry:alloy_smeltingrecipe type -
Supports custom processing time and FE requirements
-
Recipes can be customized through datapacks
-
-
Optional JEI integration
-
Crusher and Alloy Smelter recipe categories
-
Displays ingredient quantities, outputs, processing time, and FE usage
-
JEI is not required to run Flux Foundry
-
Changed
-
Wrench support expanded to the new directional machines.
-
Flux Foundry now contains nine survival-craftable items/blocks.
-
Existing power infrastructure can directly power all new processing equipment.
-
Processing systems use transactional inventories and energy handling to prevent duplication or material loss.
Fixed
-
Corrected recipe initialization timing under Minecraft 26.3.
-
Prevented stale machine menus from unintentionally loading unloaded chunks.
-
Preserved the existing Beta 1 no-force-load behavior across the new machines.
Compatibility
Existing 0.1.0-beta.1 worlds are compatible with 0.2.0-beta.1. Existing generators, Energy Cells, cables, stored FE, orientations, fuel state, and items retain their identities and state.
Flux Foundry continues to use standard NeoForge FE and was validated with external FE equipment.
Known Beta Limitations
-
Functional placeholder artwork
-
English localization only
-
Powered Furnace does not currently award furnace XP
-
Initial Alloy Smelter recipe selection is intentionally small
-
JEI integration is viewing-only
-
One Energy Cable tier
-
No machine upgrades yet
-
No item/fluid pipe networks
-
No offline generation or chunk loading
Requires Minecraft 26.3, NeoForge, and Java 25.
No additional technology mod or recipe viewer is required.
