Makes savannas generate flat — wide, level plains like real-world savannas — by gently lowering the hills, domes, plateaus and shattered terrain that vanilla scatters across them, while leaving the rest of the world exactly as vanilla. The result is open, buildable grassland that still looks naturally generated.
📦 Install on the server (or in singleplayer). Savannas are flattened during world generation, so vanilla clients can join and play seamlessly — no client installation needed.
🌱 Affects newly generated terrain only. Chunks that already exist won't change — explore into fresh land (or start a new world) to see flat savannas.
🎮 Singleplayer note: Works perfectly in singleplayer — just drop it into your mods folder as usual.

How it works:
- Flat savannas: Savanna biomes are pulled down to a low, level plain — perfect for bases, farms and builds — instead of the usual rolling, bumpy hills.
- Hills handled, not cut: Domes, plateaus and windswept/shattered relief are lowered smoothly into the flatland. Where a savanna meets higher ground, it ramps up gracefully — never an artificial cliff or wall.
- Seamless biome borders: The effect fades out across the biome edge using the same climate noise vanilla uses to place biomes, so neighbouring forests, deserts and plains blend in naturally.
- Rivers, lakes & water stay natural: A valley gate keeps rivers, lakes and low valleys fully vanilla — real flowing water with gentle banks — so the flat savanna wraps around them instead of cutting them into dry trenches.
- Trees, villages & mobs untouched: Acacia trees, villages, animals and structures are placed by vanilla after terrain, so they simply sit on the new flat ground. Nothing is removed.
- Everything else is vanilla: Oceans, mountains, caves, ores, wet biomes — anything that isn't dry savanna land is byte-for-byte identical to vanilla.
Good to know
- No configuration required — it works out of the box. There are no commands or config files to manage.
- Lightweight & data-driven: ships as worldgen data, so it adds no runtime overhead and is safe to add to or remove from a world at any time (already-generated chunks keep whatever shape they had).
- Great with terrain/biome packs: it only changes the shape of savanna land, so it plays nicely alongside most other mods.
