Fisk Companions

Bring your favourite suits to life as characters that follow, fly and fight beside you or stand against you.

Fisk Companions is an independent mod for Fisk's Superheroes. Choose suits from the base mod and your installed heropacks, then spawn friendly companions or hostile villains. Suit selection is shared with Fisk's registry; supported powers depend on the suit, and some scripted abilities are not available to mobs.

Build your team

• Hero companions: bind a Hero to you so it follows and protects you. Heroes guard an unsuited owner and assist a suited owner in combat, with periodic regeneration when the owner is hurt.
  
  
• Villain encounters: summon enemies that attack players, villagers, golems and animals. Heroes and villains fight one another.
  
  
• Squads: save groups of characters and spawn a whole team at once. Avengers, Justice League and Villains presets use suits from the base Fisk mod.
  
  
• Suit browser: search loaded suits, rotate the 3D preview, choose Hero or Villain, and spawn up to ten of the selected character at once.
  
  
• Fire settings: control retaliation against players and friendly fire between characters on the same side.

  The exact behaviour depends on the suit and its enabled modifiers.

How to use?

1. Find the Hero Configurator (Blue circle with star) in Creative mode's Tools tab. There is no survival crafting recipe yet. With cheats enabled, you can use:
   
   

/give @p fiskcompanions:hero_configurator

1. Hold the Configurator and right-click to open the Hero Spawner. Select a suit, choose Hero or Villain, and press Spawn. Leave Bind to me enabled for a companion that follows you.
2. Open Squads to spawn or edit a team. Use Settings to change this world's friendly-fire rules.
3. Right-click a character with the Configurator to change its suit, body skin or alignment. Only its owner or a player in Creative can reconfigure it.
4. Sneak + right-click your Hero with an empty hand to switch between staying and following.

• Heropacks are optional and installed separately.

Put the Fisk Companions JAR and Fisk's Superheroes JAR in your instance's or mods folder.
