ffitemraritymodifiers-0.5.0+1.21.1-neoforge.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
- Fixed armor movement speed (Agile / Cumbersome) and other armor bonuses not adding up across pieces. Armor rolled before this fix needs a new roll to benefit.
- Lightfooted / Encumbering (held movement speed) are now much stronger (about 2.5x), and Agile / Cumbersome (armor movement speed) slightly stronger (1.5x).
- Item rarity text in tooltips is now italic.
- Piercing / Blunted now change trident damage too (before, they did nothing on tridents).
- Villager and wandering trader trades for items with a rarity now cost more: Uncommon x1.5, Rare x2, Epic x3 (Common is unchanged).
- Every weapon, armor piece and tool now always gets a rarity (Common by default). Common gives no bonuses or drawbacks, and no rarity gives drawbacks by default anymore.
- The "Enable Mob Drops" and "Enable Loot Tables" options now work (whoops). Turning one off stops that source from rolling rarities. Mob drops and fished items also now use their own settings instead of the generic loot table ones.
- Upgrading gear to netherite at a smithing table now gives the netherite item's own stats and durability instead of keeping the diamond's, while keeping its rarity and modifiers.
- The item name colour now matches the rarity line, including on enchanted gear, and items that are Epic in vanilla (like the mace) are no longer lowered.
- Bows, crossbows and tridents can now roll ranged modifiers: Piercing / Blunted (projectile damage) and Fleet / Lobbed (projectile speed).
- Far Reaching / Short Handed (block reach) now only roll on mining tools, Long Reach / Short Reach only on melee weapons, and Sturdy / Fragile only on items that have durability.
- Items spawned in without a rarity (creative menu,
/giveand similar), such as a trident, are now given Common. With debug logging on, the log notes each one. - New "Compact Tooltip" client option (off by default): hides the creative tab names ("Combat", "Tools & Utilities") in creative-inventory tooltips and removes the empty line under the item name.
- The rarity now shows next to the item name ("Iron Sword - Rare") instead of on its own line.
- By default, Uncommon items now always get 1 modifier, Rare 2 and Epic 3 (Common gets none), instead of a random amount.
- The settings are now split into a Server config (which sources roll rarities, debug logging) and a Client config (tooltip lines, layout and colours), each grouped into sections in the config screen. Your old settings are not carried over, so set them again if you changed any.
- Every setting in the config screen now has a proper English name and description.
