Description
FFInjury
Injuries that stack, worsen, and need treatment. Bandages, adrenaline and a little patience are all that stand between you and a limp.

How it works
- Taking damage can injure you: twisted ankles and broken legs from falls, bruised ribs, concussions, bleeding, burns and more. Each injury brings a small penalty, like slower walking or weaker attacks.
- Getting hurt the same way again makes that injury worse. You can carry up to three different injuries at once.
- Adrenaline kicks in when you get hurt and hides the penalties for a short while.
- Bandages treat one injury at a time. Start with an improvised bandage (paper, a stick and paper) and upgrade it into stronger ones for worse injuries, all the way up to Ethereal bandages that heal instantly.
- Minor injuries heal on their own. Serious ones need treatment or a good night's sleep, and an enchanted golden apple helps too. Dying clears everything.
- Hover an injury icon in your inventory for details, and hold Shift to see how long it has left.

Configuration
You can adjust:
- How likely each kind of damage is to injure you
- Heal times, the highest tier, and how many injuries you can have at once
- Adrenaline, sleep healing, and whether injuries happen in Creative
- The HUD layout, colors and alerts
Operators also get /ffinjury commands to list, add, worsen, heal and clear injuries.
Mod compatibility
- Farmer's Delight: straw can replace paper in improvised bandages.
Version differences
FFInjury works the same on every supported version and loader.
For datapack makers
Every injury is a datapack file, so you can add your own, change penalties, and choose which kinds of damage cause them. There are also optional "hurt levels" that change regeneration based on your worst injury. Click the Wiki link in the sidebar and open the Datapacks page for details.
For mod developers
Other mods can read, add, treat and heal injuries and react to them. Click the Wiki link in the sidebar for the API guide and examples.
What's with the FF prefix?
It stands for Fyxe's Features! It's a clean way to easily find all of my mods when changing configs or creating packs. Mods that are a part of the "FF" system are usually smaller and unintrusive.
