About
Based on FastBench by Shadows, ported to Fabric.
This mod does a couple things relating to the vanilla workbench so that it runs faster and causes less network traffic.
Specifically, it caches the last recipe used, and checks this recipe first before re-scanning the entire registry. This makes shift click crafting operate much faster than before. It also lowers network traffic by sending a packet only when needed instead of whenever a slot in changed in the crafting grid.
However, these changes only apply in a vanilla workbench. Mod crafting stations should be caching recipes for performance reasons on their own, and this will not fix issues in the 2x2 player crafting inventory.
Note: this only replaces the container that is opened when right clicking a crafting table, mods should implement their optimized containers.
Requires Fabric Api and loader.

I assume this mod works with 1.16.2, right?
I asked a question on your FastFurnace mod, I'd assume the answer for that one is the same for this one.

Thank you for making this making this port, it is now in 20w22a
Is there any benefit when it is only installed on server or client side?
Is this mod intended to be used on the server side or the client side?
In reply to Forge_User_83132227:
it's needed on both sides
Crashes. Fix or remove.
In reply to EnderSlime_123:
Hey asshat, I've seen you post this on more than one mod. Here's a novel idea. Post a fucking crash log. Report the issue in a useful and constructive way. Or, if you're incapable of doing that, shut the fuck up and stop being rude to people who make mods as a hobby and give them freely to the community.
I bet whatever is causing your crash isn't even related to this mod. You're probably just a brainlet that stuck a bunch of mods together without any consideration for mod interactions or incompatibilities, and now you're going to every mod page demanding fixes or "removal". How about remove yourself from this website and take your shitty attitude with you, cunt.
