Description
🍂 FallHarder
Autumn, the way it should look.
Vanilla drops one lonely leaf every few seconds. FallHarder turns that into real leaf fall: choose how dense, choose the colours, and let the wind carry it all across the forest. Everything is toggled in-game and saved automatically – no config editing, no resource pack, nothing to install on the server.
✨ Features
- More leaves – 1× (vanilla), 2×, 4×, 8× or 12× density. Every block spawns its own particle, so oak, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, azalea and modded leaves all keep their proper look.
- Autumn colours – four palettes for the biome-tinted leaves: Autumn mix, Golden, Crimson, Early autumn – or keep Vanilla and only add the wind.
- Wind – all leaves in view drift the same way. The wind direction wanders slowly and gusts sweep through, so the forest breathes instead of raining pixels at random.
- Rustling – soft rustle sounds when you stand near trees, synchronised with the gusts. Built from vanilla leaf sounds, so it fits right in.
- Any leaves – anything that extends vanilla
LeavesBlockworks, including modded trees.

🧩 Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.21.8 – 1.21.11, Fabric Loader 0.16+, Fabric API required
- Client-side only – works on any server, vanilla or modded
- Works with Sodium, Iris and shaders (these are ordinary vanilla particles)
- Cherry and pale oak keep their own petals by design
❓ FAQ
Does it cost FPS? It only adds particles. 4× is invisible on any PC; 12× in a dense jungle on a weak GPU – step down to 8×.
Can I have autumn colours without extra leaves? Yes – set density to 1× and pick a palette.
Can I keep vanilla colours and only add wind? Yes – palette Vanilla, wind on.
Why don't cherry / pale oak leaves change colour? They use their own untinted particles; recolouring pink petals looked wrong, so they stay as they are.
Multiplayer? Fully client-side. Only you see and hear it.
