Achievement Get (thank you for your support!)
Ever get tired of plain old Iron Golems? So difficult to make, always look the same . . . Well, Extra Golems is here for you!
Now introducing 40 golems made from Minecraft blocks, ranging from wood and glass to diamond and nether brick. Each golem has unique properties, as described below. Have fun!
How to Use:
Make a Golem Spell by combining 1 Feather, 1 Redstone, 1 Ink Sack, and 1 Paper in a crafting grid.
Make a Golem Head by combining a Golem Spell and a Pumpkin -- the block looks the same because all you did is stuff a magical paper inside:
To build a golem, start by placing blocks in a 'T' formation, similar to the Iron Golem layout. Finally, place a Golem Head on top. Once created, golems act like Iron Golems, killing monsters left and right and defending your fort / base / testificate prison.

This is one of my favorite mods of all time, thank you for working on it for so long!
Thank you also for the custom texture golem command, a super genius idea, i have built many good friends like Chain golem and Spruce Trapdoor golem :)
will there be an addon for fire and ice?
In reply to tzerchaos:
Sorry if I'm rude, but correction: Ice and Fire.
Waiting for that mod to be compatible as well.
I FINALLY found the mod that creates that AWEFUL sound glitch: Guard Villagers.
In reply to Mark_the_Drifter:
My situation is that smiths can repair golems in this mod.
In reply to 48004800:
. . . yes. . . that's what I was referring to -_-
Guard Villagers mod is making them heal the Extra Golems. >.>
You can disable this in the GUARD VILLAGERS config file >_>
Does this not work on a local server? It works in Single Player but the golems don't spawn when trying to make them on my server.
Just wanted to say that this mod is freaking AMAZING. One of my favorite mods and i'm so glad there are so many golems. Good job on the mod devs and Happy New Year?
Hey anyone know what mod is making the blacksmith trying to infinitely repair the golems in this mod?
It causes an annoying sound error but have no idea which mod is conflicting with it.
In reply to Mark_the_Drifter:
I don't know, I am playing with a lot of mods and this happens to me too, I though it could be a bug from the mod, but I wasn't sure.
In reply to thepablo280:
It's an error between 2 mods. This mod and a second mod.
Mod 1 has the weaponsmith and the toolsmith try to repair all golems with iron ingots where as mod 2 has golems that adds golems that require a separate block/item to repair them with.
The problem comes in where mod 1 is an unknown mod, where as mod 2 is this mod and adds golems like clay golems that require clay to repair them with (not iron ingots). . . but mod 1 doesn't know that. . . so it keeps using iron ingots. :/
We could ask the mod maker of mod 1 to add better support. . . if we knew which mod that mod one even is. :/
One thing we COULD do together is I send you a zip file with all my mods in it and then you copy your mod folder and put all my mods in the copy of your mod folder and sort the folder by name. If we do that, you can then see which mods we BOTH use, from there, we can narrow the list of possible mods that could be causing the issue. After that, you could delete the copy you made to figure out the mod issue.
Thoughts?
In reply to thepablo280:
Update, the mod in question is Guard Villagers. . . and they don't have comments enabled :/
no WONDER it was hard to find, I only found it by accident when updating all my mods.
Update #2, you can disable this feature in the GUARD VILLAGERS config file.
1) How do you make the natural spawning more biome specific
2) not as important but i was wondering if you could add a special feature where all player-made golems start with pumpkin heads
In reply to nixity_null:
@#2
+1
this mod needs some work, first off whats the deal with having to craft the special pumpkin? super cringe, second off all the golems look exactly how you would expect them to look, very boring.... i cannot remember what the name of the dude was, but he was talking about some cool golems, and he had the textures and everything, they were so cool. they all had specific things too. i would check it out and consider redoing a lot of your golems or even perhaps make a new mod entirely for the people who do enjoy this mod as it is
In reply to Blue_Mustache3:
Thanks for the feedback.
1. The special pumpkin is a leftover from the 1.7.10 days, when you could not place pumpkins on non-solid blocks like glass. And since I wanted glass golems, I made my own block with no restrictions. You can change this in the config to use regular pumpkins.
2. Last month we made a huge change to the textures. Before, I was drawing every texture by hand. In the interest of scalability and automation, we now use the current texture pack to texture the golems. You're not the first person who misses the old textures, but for now this is how it is.
3. The special abilities for golems has always been a part of the mod and always will :) look at the config file if you want a full list.
In reply to skyjay1:
I actually like it this way because by making it a special block unique to this mod, it avoids conflicts with OTHER golem based mods like Straw Golems.
In reply to Blue_Mustache3:
Who says super cringe? Talking about how cool another mod is, that does things similar to the mod you are commenting on is not cool dude. Learn any sort of manners, please.
In reply to SJD206:
wack bruh, just trying to give feedback to better improve the mod

hey, greetings for a long time that I have not suggested anything for this mod, taking advantage of the fact that we are in the nether update you could add to the soul sand golem that would also be the same soul soil (which previously suggested) it would consist of this, it would have 3 textures ( the first 2 would be the soul sand and the soul soil but the 3 would be similar to the bone golem but dark as a reference to the wither that is made with the same material) it would be a little higher than the other golems, Like withered skeletons compared to normal skeletons, this golem when attacking would have a withering effect, would be immune to fire and poison, would have 30 life and when killing another creature it would increase its life by 2% until reaching 90 and it would not be attacked by undead creatures unless the attack first but it would be attacked by piglins (which is fine since it is weaker than the bone golem because it is cheaper to do but can also get to be very strong and)
