Architectural building in stone and marble
ERYDON brings detailed stonework, architectural forms, glazing and lighting to Creative building.
Create classical courtyards, Georgian façades, Gothic interiors, temples, galleries and modern spaces with a coordinated palette of materials and building pieces.
Materials and finishes
Build with 27 stone families, including marble-inspired materials, fresh and aged stone, Ashlar, Rusticated, Hewn and Rock surfaces.
Herringbone, mixed-stone Weave and Bronze and Silver inlays provide options for floors, walls, borders and decorative details.
Optional High polish controls offer Honed, Polished and Ganosis (mirror finish) choices with supported Complementary shaders. Stone, metallic details and glazing have separate controls, so reflective metal does not require reflective stone.
Save and restart Minecraft after changing finish preferences.
Architectural forms
- Full blocks, slabs, stairs, walls, posts, slices and layers.
- Multiface layers for covering several surfaces within one block space.
- Standard, shallow and steep slopes, including vertical forms.
- Romanesque, Modern, Gothic and Georgian arches with automatic growth up to six blocks wide.
- Georgian, Gothic and Modern alcoves.
- Square, circular and Gothic columns, including large circular columns with a 2×2 footprint.
- Cornices, surrounds, coffered ceilings, chimneys and wall coping.
- Georgian and Georgian Grand coping with fitted corners and sloping runs.
Supported arch families can combine different stone materials within the same cluster while keeping their architectural style.
Cornices follow angled walls and supported half-depth surfaces. Several cornice pieces and a ceiling cover can share one block space.
Windows, glazing and lighting
Arch and French Georgian windows include opening controls, normal or two-way glass, and sill options. No-sill settings retain finished frames while leaving the threshold clear.
Crystal, tinted and metallic glazing provide further options for windows and roofs. Framed glazing includes smooth sloping panes, diagonals and automatic corners.
Complete interiors with pendant lights, wall lighting, Oil Burners, ceiling covers and decorative ceiling details.
Built-in connected textures
ERYDON includes Synapheia, its own connected-texture engine. Continuity is neither bundled nor required.
Supported stone patterns and inlays stay aligned across neighbouring blocks, slopes and architectural components. Supported Complementary profiles also provide material reflections and parallax height effects.
Native textures and optional resource packs
Native 16x textures are included.
For higher-resolution artwork and PBR maps, choose one optional pack:
- ERYDON 32x Resource Pack.
- ERYDON 64x Resource Pack.
Both packs also support compatible Daedalon and Themelios installations. Shader effects depend on the shader profile and settings in use.
Building controls and discovery
Use the debug stick to adjust supported widths, glass, sills, lighting and decorative options.
Mod Menu provides ERYDON’s settings and material gallery. Optional REI, JEI and EMI integrations help you browse the catalogue, with material, finish, style and shape search terms.
English, German and Spanish names are included. Existing published block and item names remain available through permanent aliases and legacy search terms.
ERYDON also includes material-swapping tools with undo, cluster recalculation and optional Axiom and WorldEdit integration.
Installation
- Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1.
- Fabric Loader 0.16.10 or newer compatible release.
- Fabric API 0.92.11+1.20.1 or newer compatible release.
- Java 17.
- Install ERYDON on both the client and server for multiplayer.
Sodium and Iris are optional. If using Sodium 0.5.x, also install compatible Indium.
This release uses family compatibility generation compat2. Installed ERYDON-family building mods and official resource packs must use the same compatibility generation; their individual version numbers can differ.
Known issue
Large circular columns can still show banded lighting. This remains unresolved.
