Description
Enchantable Bottles
Turn ordinary bottles into reusable magical gear.
Enchantable Bottles lets you enchant glass bottles and potions at the enchanting table. Their enchantments stay attached while they are filled, brewed, emptied, and returned after drinking. Build a bottle once, then keep using its magic across every potion you brew in it.
Bookshelves matter. Larger stacks require a stronger enchanting setup, with a full stack reaching level 30 when the table has fifteen bookshelves.
Eleven bottle enchantments
- Chug I to III: Drink noticeably faster.
- Refreshment I to III: Restore hunger when drinking, including plain water.
- Prolonged I to III: Make potion effects last longer. This stacks with redstone brewing.
- Cleansing I to II: Clear harmful effects when drinking.
- Fortifying I to II: Gain Absorption hearts for ninety seconds.
- Last Drop I to III: Gain a chance that the drink is not consumed.
- Springwater I to II: Make plain water briefly regenerate health.
- Potent: Increase effect strength for half the duration, then finish at the original strength.
- Round of Drinks: Share the potion with nearby players at half duration.
- Everflowing: Never consume the drink. Each bottle has a thirty second cooldown.
- Vintage: Age potions in the bottle for up to double duration after four days.
Everflowing and Vintage are treasure enchantments. They are not offered at the enchanting table. A Master Cleric is the dependable source for their books. Apply them to empty bottles with an anvil.
