A modern Minecraft 1.20.x port of the classic Emoticons mod, created for the Blockbuster 1.20 port.
Emoticons Unofficial is a modern port of the original Emoticons mod for Minecraft 1.20.x.
This project was created to bring the classic emote and player animation system from Minecraft 1.12.2 to modern Minecraft, primarily to restore compatibility with the Blockbuster 1.20 port and its animation ecosystem.
The goal of this port is to preserve the original experience while updating the codebase for modern Minecraft versions. Existing emotes, animations, networking, and core behavior have been adapted to the new game architecture without changing how the mod feels to use.
