Description
Effect Horizon
Compare the potion in your hand with the effects you already have, without opening another screen or adding a keybind.
- Held versus current strength and remaining duration.
- New, stronger, weaker and equal-strength comparisons.
- Instant and infinite effects represented explicitly.
- Main-hand potion first, offhand fallback.
- Configurable compact HUD; no automatic potion use.
Weaker effects may be retained as hidden effects, so the HUD calls follow-up behavior uncertain rather than promising an outcome. This is an observed comparison, not a simulator. Vanilla drinkable potions only; splash, lingering, arrows and custom mod consumption behavior are not supported guarantees. Extra effects beyond the card limit are counted.
Client-only: Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge, Java 21. No server component or required library mod. Change position/size in config/effect-horizon.properties and restart. Uses vanilla 20 ticks/second duration display. No 26.3 release is available yet.
New beta; bugs may remain. Comparison/config/layout tests and packaged isolation checks passed. Basic actual 1.21.1 HUD checks covered new and weaker effects, hiding with F1/chat, and GUI scales 1 and Auto (3). Broader potion, font, narrow-window and modpack coverage is not exhaustive.
