Description
Batch Witness
Run finite hopper-line output acceptance tests with exact-item counts, loaded-time receipts and comparator progress.
Batch Witness adds a craftable one-slot test buffer. Place it between an input hopper and an extracting hopper, put a sample in its real slot, choose a target and click Start. Matching items actually extracted by automation count; simulated transfers do not. Hover the named menu icons to read the frozen completion receipt, loaded ticks and longest output gap.
The filter includes item components, so differently named or enchanted items are not silently merged. Completion does not stop the line: a transfer crossing the target counts in full, with excess shown as overshoot. Manual inventory access is locked during a run. No commands or extra keybinds.
Only time while the block ticks is measured; downtime and unloaded time are excluded. Comparator output reaches 15 when complete. This is a finite acceptance test, not a factory-wide profiler or a performance optimization.
Install on both clients and server: Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge, Java 21. No other mod required. No 26.3 release is available yet.
New beta; bugs may remain. Exact packaged server transfer, conservation, component-filter and saved-world restart checks passed with a separate non-shipped QA addon. Basic real 1.21.1 menu and live hopper completion checks passed. Testing is not exhaustive; broad third-party pipes, multiplayer concurrency and long-running factory loads are not established.
