Description

Introduction
Echo Warrior is a mod that combines archaeology with richly animated warrior companions.

Follow the Echo Compass to uncover buried Echo Relics, then summon warriors from past civilizations to explore and fight at your side.

The mod also adds craftable Echo Accessories and a Talent system. Combine them to create the build that best suits each warrior.
Required Dependencies
Echo Warrior is built for Minecraft 26.1.2 using the Fabric mod loader.
Before installing Echo Warrior, make sure the following required dependencies are also installed:
- Fabric API — 0.155.2+26.1.2 or newer
- SmartBrainLib — 2.0.0 or newer
- GeckoLib — 5.5.2 or newer
These dependencies are required for Echo Warrior to run correctly. For multiplayer, install compatible versions on both the client and server.
Echo Companions
The Echoes
The initial release features five distinct Echoes:
Roman Legionary — A shield-bearing defender who holds the front line.
Aztec Warrior — A relentless hunter who uses heavy sweeping strikes and bleeding attacks.
Egyptian Archer — A mobile ranged fighter who switches arrow types, fires volleys, and evades nearby threats.
Chinese Guandao Warrior — A heavily armored area fighter who builds power during combat and drives forward with a four-hit combo.
Japanese Samurai — A highly mobile single-target duelist built around dodges, dashes, and afterimages.
Echo Summoner
With YMC.Inc's latest technology, the Echo Summoner can scan relic data and reconstruct an Echo Warrior projection.
Right-click to open its interface. There, you can install an Echo Relic, add fuel, equip Echo Accessories, and configure optional skills.
Rotten Flesh, Soul Sand, and Soul Soil provide Echo Fuel.
Accessories improve an Echo's abilities, but only one copy of each accessory can be installed.
Echoes gain experience from kills they help secure and can reach level 30. Leveling increases their health and attack damage.
*This device runs entirely on green, biodegradable fuel. It causes no strange visions or problems with causality. Promise.

Echo Skills
Each Echo has its own skill set. Optional skills can be enabled or disabled through the Echo Summoner at any time.

Echo Talents
I designed more than 20 unique Talents. Most improve an Echo's combat abilities.

Some provide support for their owner, such as increasing the experience you gain.
There are even everyday Talents that help you bargain with villagers, improve your fishing, or assist with mining.
Echo Accessories
Every civilization has its own historical artifacts, cultural objects, and works of skilled craftsmanship.
You can uncover them at battlefield dig sites or craft them using the Legacies you find.
Echo Accessories grant bonuses to Echoes, but only one copy of each accessory can be installed.
Activity and Alert Settings
Will your Echo accompany you through the caves, or stand watch over your home?
You can change its Activity and Alert settings at any time. Choose between Follow, Wander, and Wait, then set its behavior to Aggressive, Defensive, or Peaceful.
*By default, Echoes will not actively attack Creepers.
Archaeology — Echoes of the Past
Echo Compass
Use the Echo Compass to locate battlefield dig sites through their lingering echoes.
Each pulse guides you closer to the suspicious block containing an Echo Relic.
*For players who cannot rely on sound for navigation, visual echo cues indicate the source as well.
Each battlefield dig site contains one guaranteed Echo Relic.
You may also uncover Knowledge Fragments, Legacies, and Echo Accessories.
Other supplies left behind on the battlefield may still prove useful.
You might even find evidence that an army from the Nether was defeated there!
Legacies
Across different ages, the same virtues remain worth carrying forward.
Battlefield archaeology may uncover records of heroic deeds and the qualities that defined them.

A Legacy may grant a benefit when read, or serve as a crafting material for Echo Accessories that embody its virtue.
Knowledge Fragments
Loose pages recording all kinds of small facts.
Reading one gives you knowledge—the kind that stays in your head, not experience points or research currency.
Combine Knowledge Fragments freely into a Knowledge Fragment Collection for easier reading and a much happier inventory.
Yes, a collection can hold duplicates of the same Knowledge Fragment. You can also remove them at any time, so store them without worry.
Echo Salvage Chest
Are your chests overflowing with duplicate Knowledge Fragments or Echo Accessories you no longer need?
Craft an Echo Salvage Chest and place them inside.
YMC.Inc collects the contents at midnight and returns some raw materials in exchange.

Tutorial Manual: Echoes, Warriors, and You
Craft the Tutorial Manual using any Knowledge Fragment and a book.

It covers almost everything you need to know about the mod.
