Echo Warrior uses different licenses for different parts of the project. Using, modifying, or redistributing any part of the project requires compliance with the license that applies to that part.

1. Code and technical tooling

Original Java source code, build logic, project tooling scripts, and technical data definitions authored for Echo Warrior are licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0.

2. Creative assets and content

Original models, textures, animations, shaders, audio, user-interface artwork, icons, illustrations, writing, localization, documentation, encyclopedia content, promotional artwork, and their editable source files are governed by the Echo Warrior Creative Assets License 1.0.

This custom license broadly permits attributed fan works and commercial derivative works. Prior explicit written permission is required for direct or only lightly modified use of covered assets in Minecraft content published on a platform where Minecraft content can be sold or placed behind mandatory payment, even when the particular upload is free.

3. Contributor and third-party material

No person can grant rights that they do not own. The creative-assets license applies to a contributor's work only when that contributor has expressly authorized its use under that license. Contributor work not expressly covered remains under the contributor's copyright and may require separate permission.

Minecraft, Mojang, Microsoft, libraries, dependencies, historical reference material, and other third-party content retain their respective copyright, trademark, and license status.
