Dynamic Connected Textures — Release 1.0
First public release for Minecraft 1.21.1 and NeoForge.
- Organic visual transitions among twenty natural rock and ground materials, including all 190 pairings.
- Multi-material junctions: several nearby materials can appear within one rendered block.
- Stable transition widths varying from one to four blocks in X, Y and Z.
- Texture-aware shapes using the active resource pack, with biome-tinted grass, layered sides and snowy grass appearances.
- Calmer grassland tops: fully buried soil and rock stay beneath intact lawns, while exposed banks, gravel, moss and outcrops still blend.
- Resource-reload support and live boundary updates when blocks are placed or removed.
- Purely visual behavior: existing blocks, mining, drops, gravel physics and world generation stay unchanged.
Renamed from the private Lithic Blend development builds. The internal mod ID remains lithicblend; remove an older development JAR before installing this release.
The rendering implementation is unchanged from the tested 0.6 alpha. Release 1.0 was rebuilt with the new project name/version and passed 877,110 verification assertions; the compiled rendering classes were compared byte-for-byte with the tested build.
Checked with standard rendering and Sodium 0.8.12 using Bare Bones. Shader/Iris behavior, custom block models, multiplayer and all modpack combinations have not been validated; large-world performance has not been benchmarked.
