■ Dragon Spider - is a sponsored addon for Dragon Survival that adds particularly intelligent and large spider that wants to build its own civilization far away from everyone else. Play as a spider with its own unique survival, and hunting mechanics! It feeds on raw and live meat.
■ Body types:
■ Unlike dragons, spiders don't grow naturally — they must eat well and hunt to build up enough essence for moulting. Once your Silk Essence bar is full, hold this ability to molt: you'll grow larger and receive a random reward, but you'll be weak and defenseless for a short time.
■ Broodmother (adult females only) - Lay egg sacs. Use Spiderling Food to grow it faster, or share your own food bar. Place eggs in the dark, in sunlight, in the Nether, or in the End to hatch spiders with different effects - each type provides different resources when it hatches.
■ Produce Silk - Create Silken Cobweb that lets spiders pass through freely while slowing other creatures. Use it as a trap, ladder, string source, or decoration. It's water-resistant and can suffocate aquatic mobs caught inside. Larger and older spiders produce more web.
■ Web Fisher (adult males only) - Use your Silken Essence to catch aquatic creatures - look directly at the target's hitbox (press F3 + B to display hitboxes if needed) and use the ability. An instant kill grants fishing loot, with a small chance of treasure instead.
■ Spider Kinship - Cover nearby creatures with silk dust and pheromones, causing other spiders to recognize them as allies. Affected creatures can move through Silken Cobweb without being slowed, but become more vulnerable to fire. Higher levels increase the effect duration.
■ Necrotic Venom - Unarmed critical attacks inflict Necrotic Venom on living creatures, dealing damage over time; other attacks deal bonus damage to affected targets. Upgrading this skill adds a chance to apply venom with any spider attack, increasing its duration and damage. Inflicting venom consumes hunger.
■ Silk Essence - Killing a creature affected by Necrotic Venom restores essence - but only if killed by your direct attack. Dragon Spiders do not regenerate essence passively. Larger creatures restore more essence based on their maximum health, and killing a creature trapped in Silken Blocks restores even more.
■ Web Harvester - Regular cobweb breaks when touched with your body, dropping 2 string. The vanilla web will still slow you down.
■ Arachnid Nature - Poison has little effect on you. Silken Cobweb doesn't slow you down (regular webs still do). Left-clicking any Silken Blocks deals damage to creatures trapped inside, based on your Necrotic Venom skill. You can harvest all silk decorations with your bare hands and obtain the base block.
■ Spider Sense - Using sensitive legs, detect nearby creatures - different creatures are highlighted in different colors. Only works while both spider and target are on the ground. Upgrading increases detection range.
■ Friend of Spiders - Spiders will never attack you first. But if you attack them, they'll defend themselves.
■ Protective Pheromones - You cannot damage spiders, but they will defend you and attack your targets.
■ Outcast - People don't understand you and will either attack you or flee in fear. There's no way you could trade with them.
■ No flamethrower, please - Your bristles and silk dust make you more vulnerable to fire.
■ Limited Dexterity - Not every item can be handled with spider legs. Swords, bows, crossbows, elytra, fishing rods, and many other items cannot be held.
■ Silken Cobweb - A special, durable web woven by Dragon Spiders from Silk Essence. Unlike ordinary cobwebs, it remains intact underwater and can catch fish. Spiders can move through it freely and use it as a trap for escaping prey, while all other creatures are heavily slowed.
■ Spider Egg Sac - Place this eggs on the ground to begin its growth. Over time, a small spiderling will hatch from it. Its traits may vary depending on light level, habitat, and other conditions. The Dragon Spider can speed up hatching by using Spiderling Food and sacrificing its own food.
■ Spider Silken Chest (Small / Medium / Big) - Spacious web storage that can be upgraded, hung from ceilings, or used as decoration underwater. To increase its capacity, sneak while holding a Silken Chest Upgrade and right-click this spider chest. Or just craft.
■ Many Decorative Silk Blocks - waterloggable big set of blocks for spider nests that slow other creatures.
■ Spiderling Food - Right-click a cocoon with this item to help the spiderling inside hatch faster. Eating this item as a spider restores Silk Essence - the amount restored depends on your Necrotic Venom skill level.
■ Silken Chest Upgrade - Sneak while holding this item and right-click a Spider Silken Chest. Tiny spiderlings will weave extra storage inside.
■ Spider Bait - When a player with the Friend of Spiders effect holds this item, nearby spiders will begin following them.
■ Nutrient Slurry - Feeding this item to a wild spider grants it a small amount of Regeneration. Eating this item as a spider restores Silk Essence - the amount restored depends on your Necrotic Venom skill level. You can obtain this item by killing creatures with your Necrotic Venom. Let them die on their own and do not deal any additional damage yourself. Choose your target based on your skill level. You may not have enough strength to handle a creature that is too large if your skill level is low.
■ Spider Mana Restore Time - This number is multiplied by the victim's health. The higher the number, the more mana will be restored.
■ Base Necrotic Damage - The main damage caused by the necrotic venom, which occurs at regular intervals.
■ Spider Additional Necrotic Damage - The amount of additional damage dealt to a target when you attack it with your bare hands.
■ The add-on includes a wide variety of tags, recipes, loot_tables, functions, and other settings. Check out the add-on's files to customize absolutely everything you want! Feel free to create your own additions to this mod.
■ Spider nests containing eggs and cocoons may appear on the surface and underground. There, you'll find various random loot inside. Unless you're a spider, you'll still find something interesting inside.
■ - At the game's start, you'll be given a choice menu of several creatures to transform into. If you cancel your selection with ESC, you can return to it later via your inventory. An alternative method is to use the Dragon Altar from Dragon Survival.

■ This mod features automatic compatibility for food, weapon locking, creature detection, and other mechanics that rely on tags. If other mods use the standard tagging system, their items and creatures will automatically be compatible. Otherwise, create a datapack. Or leave a comment explaining which creatures and items (include their IDs) in the mod (provide a link to the mod) aren’t working as expected. Perhaps in a future update, I’ll make them compatible if I deem it necessary.
■ Spiders don't have their own specific tag in the game or Neoforge, so spiders from other mods won't be friendly and defend you, but I specifically added spiders from Infested: Swarms and Spiders. So this is a great fit if you're looking for more spiders variations.
