Description
A little piece of my history
Derpy Pig was my first ever Minecraft mod, created in 2013. I'm Euan, and this is a small, very strange piece of my history that I wanted to bring back and share.
The original development project was lost. In October 2026, the surviving compiled release was recovered from my old account, reverse engineered into readable source and ported across Minecraft versions. The recovered release is a ZIP containing compiled mod classes and textures; this is reconstructed source, rather than my original 2013 development project.
The aim is to let this little pig come along to the versions people want to play, with all its janky weirdness intact.
What's in it?
- The original Derpy Pig: crooked nose, strange leg movement, original texture and pig sounds.
- Raw Derpy Chop, Cooked Derpy Chop, Apple Derpy Chop and Apple Sauce, using the original item textures.
- Original recipes: smelt a raw chop; craft an apple above sugar above stone for Apple Sauce; combine sauce with a cooked chop for an Apple Derpy Chop.
- Ridiculous food values, non-edible Apple Sauce, version jokes and the intentionally messed-up

Versions and installation
There are 23 port builds across 18 Minecraft versions, plus the recovered original for 1.4.5. A version is available on this site only when its matching download appears in the Files/Versions tab.

Choose your exact Minecraft version and loader. Install the loader, then put the matching individual mod file in that instance's mods folder. Fabric builds also require the matching Fabric API. Classic Risugami ModLoader is a separate historical loader; its ZIPs are not Forge or Fabric mods. The recovered original needs classic ModLoader for 1.4.5. Use a separate game instance for each version and follow the matching loader's installation steps. For classic ModLoader builds use Java 8 and install the matching Risugami ModLoader before adding the mod ZIP. Do not place the all-builds collection ZIP in mods/.
