0.2.8-beta-hotfix3 — Stability & Progression Hotfix

Hotfix 3 is a focused stability update for the 0.2.8 release line, addressing several progression, fluid, configuration, recipe, and dedicated-server issues discovered during a wider release audit.

Fixed

• Fixed Perforated Spritzer spraying behavior.

  • The Spritzer now begins spraying only when its 3500 mB tank is full.
  • Once activated, it continues spraying until its available fluid is depleted instead of stopping after the first 25 mB.

• Fixed Perforated Spritzer bucket interaction.

  • Sulfuric Acid Buckets can manually fill the Spritzer.
  • Empty buckets can retrieve Sulfuric Acid.
  • Manual bucket interaction now works independently of automated pipe connection rules.

• Fixed multiple recipes using incorrect item output count definitions.

• Fixed Ember Catalyst Washing output quantities.

• Fixed Ashesil Mixing output quantity.

• Corrected Netherwood Crushing result definitions and secondary outputs.

• Corrected Gunpowder Crushing Sulfur and Charcoal chance outputs.

• Fixed the Hotfix 1 Acid-Resistant Ceramic starter recipe using obsolete fluid ingredient syntax.

• Corrected two reversed Combustion Belt heat requirements:

  • Wet Ash Ceramic → Ash Ceramic now requires Heated.
  • Unfired Ash Brick → Ash Brick now requires Superheated.

• Fixed Sulfuric Acid reaction cooldowns interfering with matching block coordinates in different dimensions.

• Fixed Rubber Padding item bounce multipliers not applying consistently to later bounces.

• Fixed and reorganized the Rubber Padding and Molten Rotor configuration hierarchy.

• Added missing pickaxe mining tags for:

  • Ashesil Pane
  • Tempered Ashesil
  • Tempered Ashesil Pane

• Removed duplicate Perforated Spritzer renderer registration.

• Improved dedicated-server compatibility by separating client-only fluid rendering functionality from common initialization.

• Updated the minimum supported JEI version to 19.42.0.387.

• Updated release metadata for Hotfix 3.

This update is intended to stabilize the existing 0.2.8-beta — Sulfurous Capabilities release line before development continues toward 0.2.9-beta — Resonance.
