Dig pits, not ores. Pit & Gantry adds a kinetic gantry quarry to Create that excavates a full construction pit: every block in the field is mined, nothing is replaced, and all spoil is stored.
⚙️ How it works
Place the Pit Controller at the corner of the area you want to excavate and power it with rotational force through a shaft.
Lay out the size with Gantry Shafts. Run one straight line of regular Create Gantry Shafts from the controller along the X edge and one along the Z edge. The length of each line is the width and length of the pit. The pit fills the rectangle the two lines span, directly below the controller.
Set the target depth on the controller with the scroll value (1–64 layers, default 8).
Install a drill head and extension poles in the controller's interface. It's ready to dig.
