Your ender storage, actually yours.
In Create: Ender Transmission, transmitters connect by a channel and a password. That's fine on your own, but on a server anyone who guesses 1 + base can pipe straight out of your storage, drain your fluids or steal your rotation.
Ender Transmission Secure fixes that. Transmitters now join private networks that you own, linked the same way Create links stock networks. You choose who else is allowed in.
✨ Features
- 🔗 Stock-link style linking: right-click a placed transmitter with another one to tune it, then place it anywhere. No passwords to type or remember.
- 🔒 Private by default: the player who places the first transmitter owns the network.
- 👥 Access list: add friends by name, remove them in one click, or make the network public.
- 📦 Items, fluids and rotation together: Item, Fluid and Energy Transmitters can all share one network.
- 🛡️ Checked by the server: a modified client can't sneak onto someone else's network.
- ♻️ Nothing breaks: existing channel + password transmitters keep working as before.
🚀 Getting started
- Place a transmitter. A new private network starts, named after you.
- Hold another transmitter and right-click the first one. The item glows and its tooltip shows which network it's tuned to.
- Place it anywhere. It's on your network. Items and fluids reach any world. Rotation reaches transmitters in the same world.
- Right-click any transmitter with an empty hand to open the network screen.
Tips: sneak-right-click to place a transmitter next to another without tuning. Right-click the air to clear a tuned item.
🖥️ The network screen
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Name | Rename the network so you can tell them apart. |
| Access: Private | Only you, your listed players and server operators can link to it or open it. |
| Access: Public | Anyone can link to it. Only you can change it. |
| Allowed players | Type a name and press Add. Press ✕ to remove someone. |
Players on the list can use the network but can't change its settings. Only the owner and operators can.
🛡️ What it protects against
- Guessing: private networks have no password to guess.
- Tuning without permission: players without access are told the network is private and who owns it.
- Passing items around: a tuned transmitter given to someone without access won't join. It starts their own network instead.
- Old-screen tricks: Ender Transmission's channel screen can't move a secured transmitter or put anything onto your network.
♻️ Existing worlds
Transmitters already set up with a channel and password stay exactly as they are and still use Ender Transmission's own screen. Tuning from one copies its channel and password, so you can keep extending old setups. To secure an old setup, break its transmitters and place them again.
⚙️ Server config
endersecure-server.toml in world/serverconfig/:
newTransmittersUseNetworks(default true): new transmitters start private networks. Set to false to keep the old channel system for new transmitters.lockNewNetworks(default true): new networks start private. Set to false to start them public.maxAllowedPlayers(default 32): how many players fit on a network's list.allowOldChannels(default true): set to false to disable the old channel + password screen.
❓ FAQ
Are there new blocks or recipes? No. It works with Ender Transmission's own transmitters.
Can operators manage any network? Yes. Operators can open, use and change every network.
Does it work with Create: Access Denied? Yes. Access Denied secures stock networks and this mod secures ender transmitters. They work side by side.
Server, client or both? Both. It adds a screen and changes what right-clicking a transmitter does.
