Craftifyy
A lightweight Spotify integration mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Fabric) that lets you see and control your music without leaving the game.
Features
- Inventory panel — A small Spotify logo sits in the corner of your inventory screen. Click it to expand a draggable panel showing the current track, artist, playback progress, and volume.
- HUD notification — When a new song starts, a compact now-playing popup appears near the hotbar for a few seconds, then fades away.
- Full playback control — Play/pause, skip to next/previous track, seek to any point in the song, and adjust volume, all from in-game.
- No API setup required — Craftifyy doesn't use the Spotify Web API, so there's no Client ID, OAuth login, or Premium requirement. It reads playback info directly from your operating system:
- Windows: via SMTC (System Media Transport Controls)
- Linux: via
playerctl/ MPRIS (installplayerctlif you don't have it)
- Configurable placement — Choose which corner the panel anchors to, adjust its size, or drag it anywhere and it'll remember your position. Accessible in-game or through Mod Menu.
- Client-side only — No server-side component, safe to use on any server.
Requirements
- Fabric Loader + Fabric API
- Linux users:
playerctlmust be installed - Spotify desktop app running on the same machine
Notes
- macOS is not currently supported.
- Volume control is only available on Linux; Windows' media session API doesn't expose per-app volume control.
