Curse Maven Snippet
1. Zombies will now chase players holding a torch. I added this because of the dynamic lighting feature added by Optifine, Oculus, and other mods. Why do zombies see a torch on the ground but not a lit torch in my hand? Now they're watching you too 🫣
2. Improved nighttime behavior. Zombies don't just follow the light and stay put. Once they reach it, they'll look for a new light source, making this behavior more dynamic and intelligent. BE CAREFUL: Did you make a torch trail to avoid getting lost? They'll follow you.
3. Improved behavior when following injured players. They'll now also detect if you're injured (by smelling blood). They'll even go to your own health settings to enable this.
4. Zombies, like skeletons, will no longer come out during the day to burn themselves, they will now wait patiently in the shadows until you are in the shadows too.
