Changelog

  • Fixed a crawl/respawn regression where dying while crawling could leave stale player geometry behind, causing the player to clip into the floor the next time they crawled after respawning.
  • Death and respawn now act as hard movement-state reset boundaries, clearing lingering crawl/swim state before normal player geometry is restored.
  • Restored canonical standing dimensions, bounding-box positioning, eye height, and vertical offsets during the respawn lifecycle.
  • Prevented crawl geometry from being applied relative to stale pre-death positioning or effectively being applied twice after a respawn teleport.
  • Improved synchronization between client and server player geometry after death so collision and rendered positioning remain consistent.
  • Preserved normal crawling, ordinary teleportation, and the existing sleep/wake geometry fixes.
  • Verified repeated crawl → death → respawn → crawl cycles no longer accumulate vertical positioning errors.
