Combatives brings modern movement and immersive first-person camera mechanics to Minecraft Forge 1.7.10 without replacing the core feel of vanilla gameplay.

The mod introduces fully integrated swimming and crawling mechanics inspired by modern Minecraft, complete with authoritative multiplayer synchronization, proper collision handling, smooth pose transitions, and support for dedicated servers.

On top of the movement system is a cinematic first-person camera that reacts naturally to gameplay. Walking, sprinting, jumping, landing, explosions, and other movement events produce subtle physical camera motion using spring-based simulation instead of simple screen shake. Every effect is visual-only, meaning player aim, mouse sensitivity, and gameplay remain unchanged.

Combatives is built around compatibility. The camera system is modular, configurable, and designed to coexist with other gameplay mods rather than replacing them. Developers can also integrate directly with the public Combatives Camera API to trigger custom camera effects, making it easy for weapons, vehicles, abilities, explosions, or entirely new gameplay systems to participate in the same camera pipeline.
