Cobblemon-mount-mastery-0.4.0
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
v0.4.0
Cobblemon 1.8.0 Compatibility
- Updated for Cobblemon 1.8.0. The mod now requires Cobblemon 1.8.0 or newer.
New: Per-Species Tuning
- You can now customize how training works for individual Pokémon species, via a new "Species Overrides" screen in the config menu (ModMenu). Pick any rideable species from a searchable, filterable list (filter by name or by what it can do: Fly/Run/Swim) and adjust, just for that species:
- Turn training off entirely (it rides like plain Cobblemon, no bonuses)
- Its own max stamina duration, independent of the global setting
- How fast it earns training boosts
- How far its Speed can go past the normal cap
- The editor shows the species type and riding capabilities right at the top, so you always know what you're editing.
New: Reward Pool Editor
- Every reward pool in the mod is now editable in-game, no file editing required: Daily Quest rewards, the three Distance Relay loot tiers (Common/Uncommon/Rare), and every Achievement/Milestone reward. Add items via a searchable picker (so you can't typo a reward into something broken), adjust quantities and drop weights with sliders, and remove anything you don't want.
Reward Variety Overhaul
- A huge pass on what you actually get rewarded with, based on player feedback about balance. Rewards are now tiered by how hard they are to earn:
- Daily Quests now include EV Feathers, Evolution Stones, Tumblestones, and Exp. Candy (M), alongside the usual Upgrade/Stamina Berries.
- Achievements and Milestones (Distance, Training Level, Stamina Level, Style Mastery, Team Mastery) now scale up properly as they get harder — bigger Exp. Candy, Mint Leaves, Fossils, EV Mochis, held-item Herbs, and for the very hardest milestones in each category: Vitamins, a Lucky Egg, an IV-boosting Candy, and TM's.
- The Distance Relay loot pool also gained IV-altering candies (both the stat-raising and the rarer stat-lowering kind).
- Master Ball rewards can be turned off in the config screen. When off, every Master Ball reward is replaced with 5x Exp. Candy (XL) and a random TM instead.
- Master Balls are no longer awarded from the Endurance Legend (max Stamina) or Style Mastery achievements by default.
Config Additions
- New "Reset to Default" button in the main config screen.
- Daily Quests can now be turned off entirely, and their distance requirements scaled up or down.
- The max stamina duration a Pokémon can train toward is now a config option instead of fixed at 5 minutes.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed Daily Quests sometimes never appearing for a player — if your party wasn't fully loaded the moment you joined, the quest system could permanently decide you had no rideable Pokémon for the rest of the day. It now retries automatically instead of getting stuck.
- Fixed the Cobblemon Summary screen occasionally failing to open at all.
