Configurable Item Entities (CIE)

Redefining dropped items™

Physics: Item entities have physical aspects such as collision boxes
Pickup mechanics: Item entities can be picked up manually via right-clicking or sneaking
Collection tools: Collection tools aiding with item pickup can be configured
Combining: Combining/stacking of item entities can be disabled
Despawning: Despawn duration of item entities can be changed or disabled completely
Rendering: Item entities lay flat on the ground, rotate or bob

All listed aspects are configurable and combinable.
